Saifi: is the large group of Silsilah e Saifiyah that is named as Saifi Sufi Order Well-known saifi community in Pakistan belongs to spiritual islamic sufi order that is known as Silsilah e Saifia. Silsilah e Saifiya is the most renowned Sufi order that is associated with the name of Peer Akhunzada Saif-ur-Rehman Mubarak(RA)(1925-2010) who is also known as Peer e Archi Mubarak. Saifi Silsilah trains disciples in four sufi order which are: Naqshbandi, Chishti, Soharwardi and Qadri. Saifi Disciples/followers now recognize themselves in association with the name of Peer Akhunzada Saif ur Rehman Mubarak(RA).Saifi community is more famous for the activation of hearts through 'dhikr' in Naqshbandi sufi order. The vibration of heart is so obvious that a follower of this sufi order and others looking towards him can see the heart doing dhikr clearly sometimes. Another aspect of saifi community is that follower of naqshbandi safi order often go in the phase of 'wajd' or 'ecstacy' . The wajd/ecstasy has it's roots in the Quran and Hadith. Many evidences are available in the history of Islam about ecstasy.
Other Saifi Communities: Another Saifi is community associated with the occupation of blacksmith and carpanter. Their name comes from the Arabic word saif ("sword/Talwaar"). Saifi's link themselves with Hazrat Abu Saif who was a warrior and swordsmith at the time of Muhammad. Like many other artisan communities in North India, they claim descent from Arab, Central Asian and Persian immigrants to India. Many saifi's work as engineers in India and Pakistan.Saifi was also elaborated in English as Super Artisan Industrialist Federation of India (SAIFI). The community had decided to use the surname Saifi, which the blacksmith and carpentry community adopted.
These Saifi are a Muslim community found in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, India,Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, England etc. They are now considered as most successful and financially established clan within Muslim Community. They are also known as Muslim Abbasi. They are the one who give jobs to other communities.

Living of Indian Saifi Muslim Community
They are involved with wood carving/engravings and iron work. Many have also taking to the modern occupation of being engineers, mechanics, and furniture salesmen, working in sawmills and workshops with lathe machines for the manufacture of spare parts. The Saifi are now one of the most successful Muslim community in North India, and include a number of professionals in their ranks.
The Saifi's have their own councils and organisations like ALL INDIA SAIFI COUNCIL (AISC) Presently in the guidance of Mr Jamil Ahmed Saifi Greater Noida UP and Mohammed Yahya Saifi, SWAI, SWAD, Jamate Saifia, USWA etc. Saifi Welfare Association of India (SWAI) Presently in the guidance of Mr. Shamim Saifi Zakir Nagar New Delhi to deal with matters relating to the community welfare. This Association deals with issues such as employment, Education and disrespect of community norms. USWA (United Saifi Welfare Association) Based in Rampur U.P. under the guidance of Sultan Ahmad Saifi is also working continuously for the upliftment of the Saifi Community, particularly in the field of Politics. Social disputes, Poverty Alleviation, Education and other matters are also addressed by the USWA Team. Distribution
In Uttar Pradesh, they are found in Lucknow, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Bulandshahr, Bijnor, Rampur, Jyotiba Phule Nagar, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Baghpat, Yamuna Nagar, Dehradun, Ambala, karnal Moradabad, Meerut and Aligarh districts. They are mostly present in the Rohilkhand Mustafabad and all over the north India region, as well as in Delhi, with a diaspora in the Persian Gulf area and other nations. In Bihar: They are found in Siwan, Gopalganj, Mirganj, Chchapra, Betiyah, Motihari, Rakshoul, Darbhanga, Bhagalpur, Patna and many districts.
