A page you deleted has been recreated
On March 21st you deleted User:Bolero24/sandbox for misuse of Misplaced Pages as a webhost, today my bot detected that it was recreated. I looked at the article and it looks like it might be the a recreation of the deleted article, however, as a non-administrator I cannot see the deleted page so am notifying you. I have not marked it for deletion because it could just be an article under construction that doesn't yet indicate notability. PhantomTech (talk) 00:32, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
- Talk about can of worms! Bolero24 (talk · contribs) appears to be one of an whole clutch of socks who each create one sandbox article. There seems to be a bit of good faith about this so what I propose should be done is move each sandbox to draft: space and submit it. If you wanted to help … — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 15:01, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
I moved and submitted the one I linked to, don't know what usernames the others are under so I can't really help with those. PhantomTech (talk) 15:31, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
- @PhantomTech: very strange: you say "don't know what usernames the others are under" but somehow, using exactly the same information as is available to you, I find 22 names. It was the spooky similarity of the edit patterns that led me to think at first that it was sock puppetry. I can almost visualise them sitting there and the lecturer saying: "I want each of you to leave a message on the talk page of each of the people near to you - and laying it down in such detail as to say "put <p> on a line by itself before your signature". It was of course this walled garden of user talk messages that enabled me to identify the people. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:19, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
Sorry, I assumed you knew there were multiple uses because of something related to the deletion, I didn't even bother to check the talk page. I noticed you went through the trouble of pointing them to this message on their talk pages, would you still like me to move their sandboxes to AfC and submit them or would you prefer I just watch them for a bit? — PhantomTech (talk) 04:38, 27 March 2015 (UTC)
- Now that I have worked out what is going on, I will reverse my view: the sandbox pages must be left where they are - publishing them is an integral part of any student project and if they don't do it, they must suffer the consequences. (But now you have moved Bolero24's page it can stay where it is.) There is so far a resounding silence in response to my messages. Keep watching. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:47, 28 March 2015 (UTC)
Mindport
Hi User:RHaworth I did not get a chance to recover material from the page Mindport nor did I get a chance to address issues by rewriting. In any case, please direct me to how to recover this work so I can continue working on it in a sandbox. Isn't this how Misplaced Pages is supposed to work, working on pages until they are ready to meet standards for publication? Also, I do not understand why talk pages are deleted. It seems like a convenient way to avoid genuine discussion of standards and issues, or other opinions, somewhat resembling Fahrenheit 451, or at minimum, not in the spirit of platonic dialogue. Newvisionpublisher (talk) 01:27, 26 March 2015 (UTC) Newvisionpublisher
- Just for once I am going to refuse to email you the content until you assure me that you will keep it a long way from Misplaced Pages. What horribly pretentious rubbish: you have invented what seems to be a new style of GUI - it is difficult to tell from your description - but for some reason you feel it necessary to bring Kant, Wittgenstein and even Hammurabi into your description. Kindly have the decency to wait until this design becomes widely used (obviously if you try and enforce your patent and ask for licence fees, then no-one is going to use it) when someone with no COI will write it up. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:15, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
Request to undelete EMMA for Peace
Dear RHaworth , Thank you for your contribution to Misplaced Pages Foundation. I request you to undelete & restore EMMA for Peace. This page has been deleted by you. Reason was copyright infringement of http://www.emmaforpeace.org/ . I edited & added some contents from their official page. It was modified version. I had no chance to remove or modify contents because there's no warning or Tagging. Suddenly page was deleted. If we had a chance we could modify the article based on wiki rules. You know , EMMA for Peace is Notable subject. Please do some modification or clean up. My humble request to you undelete EMMA for Peace and restore the page with appropriate contents. Thanks again! — Khocon (talk) 4:30, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
- I have some doubts about this: who are the "we" that you mention. I see that you have been warned about paid editing - should this page have a paid editing warning? But I have restored it. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:46, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
Thank you very much for restoring the article. For clarify "we" i meant we all Wikipedian or editors. Yes, i have been warned about paid editing. They thought some of my works were paid editing. Good luck. — Khocon (talk) 9:57, 26 March 2015 (GMT+6)
Text of deleted article on Hans-Jürgen Sasse
Hi RHaworth,
Can you please provide me the text of my article on Hans-Jürgen Sasse?
I do not know what the correct link for a deleted article is, but my best guess is <ref> https://en.wikipedia.org/Hans-J%C3%BCrgen_Sasse. {{cite web}}
: Missing or empty |title=
(help)</ref>
I'd like to contest the speedy deletion (on the grounds that I am also the author of the text cited at http://www.ssila.org/2015/03/05/hans-jurgen-sasse-1943-2015/.) I'm an editor of the SSILA newsletter and wrote the obituary that is the basis for the Misplaced Pages article. Once I have the text, I can donate the material to Misplaced Pages.
Thanks,
George Aaron Broadwell,
G.broadwell (talk) 18:20, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
- Well at least you tried to provide a link which is more than most people writing here do. But unfortunately your link was multiply wrong: external link format not wikilink, in a cite web template which we don't use on talk pages or for wikilinks, in a <ref> which ditto and finally pointing to a page that has never existed! But is actually very simple: the page that told you that I had done the deletion is the page to which you should be linking.
- "Once I have the text, I can donate" it - strange logic. What is preventing you doing the donation first by getting a {{cc-by-sa-4.0}} tag placed on your obit at ssila.org? In fact I have already restored your text. I have decided to leave it as an exercise to the student to find it. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 23:35, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
UTRS unblock requst
Howdy, I've got an unblock request on UTRS (#13418) from Gabriel Andrijausco (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log). The user is requesting an unblock based on the submission as follows:
I didn't know all rules correctly, I was in my fantasy world creating virtual tv series and etc... I admit that I wouldn't do it knowing the rules. Now I know them and I'm sorry for my self!
— User:Gabriel Andrijausco
If you have any comments on this block, I would appreciate it. Otherwise, I will deny this request in 3-4 days. Thanks, Nakon 01:19, 28 March 2015 (UTC)
- You could ask him what sort of edits he intends to do if unblocked. But I will leave it entirely to your judgement. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:47, 28 March 2015 (UTC)

Irfan afzal singer
You've blocked them, but their uploads still need to be cleaned up. —George8211 / T 07:16, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
- When someone posts a flagrant self-promotional page with a picture, I usually do not bother to do anything about the picture/s even if they are uploaded here. A notable exception is Paul T T Easter who really annoys me. In the case of Irfan Afzal the uploads are all to the Commons where I have no special rights so if you think they should be deleted, you can make the requests just as easily as I could. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:50, 30 March 2015 (UTC)

Why wipe out revision history?
On 28 March 2015 you wiped out the revision history of my talk page. Why? — Ottawahitech (talk) 15:29, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
- I did not "wipe out" the history - I moved it. I am one of admittedly a very small minority who feel that, if possible, the history of an archive page should live with the "top copy" of the archive. Thus for example, if one had suspicions about the authorship of this message, I feel it is better if we can find the answer in the edit history of the same page, thus: difference report. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:33, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
Junior Michael Chand Mahabir
You seem to have accepted the speedy reason of "He is not notable, Please move it to the Fiji Hindi wiki instead. Bhajan singers do not qualify under our notability criteria"; I'm a little puzzled. I have no idea at all of actual notability, but there is a prize, and a ref. to it. DGG ( talk ) 16:37, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
- You have my full permission to restore or do whatever else you see fit with this article. If nothing else, Krishfiji (talk · contribs) does need to be warned about creating poorly referenced articles. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:50, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
Deleted page Iris Kurdica (artist)
Hello, I have seen the notification that a page I started has been deleted which has made me confused. Another admin, Nicky Mathew, flagged it for speedy deletion soon after I had started it and I did put a motivation on his talk-page. I have not received any comments back. Now, the page has been removed. Iris Kurdica is the new artistic name of a famous Kurdish artist, producer and director. As far as I know, he did not exist on Misplaced Pages with his previous artistic name so this may be his first appearance. More of the motivation can be seen on Niky Mathews page. Can the page be restored? — Preceding unsigned comment added by KurdsForKurdistan (talk • contribs) 19:29, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
- @KurdsForKurdistan: The page can be restored if you can provide enough evidence of notability. Wikic¤l¤gy 20:16, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
- Sadly, I can't find any evidence of notability. Kindly wait until your Iris Kurdica (artist) becomes notable and someone with no WP:COI will write about it here. Wikic¤l¤gy 20:44, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
- Nicky mathew (talk · contribs) is not an admin. I cannot see "more of the motivation" in the message you have placed on their talk page. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:52, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
Gamma Zeta Rho
Hi! I noticed that you deleted Gamma Zeta Rho from the list of LGBT and LGBT-friendly fraternities and sororities. Can I ask why? — Bali88 (talk) 20:25, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
- In the source code of the "list of" page you will see an HTML comment marked "important". Please read it. Create the article here about this sorority, wait a week to see if it likely to stick and then you may think about adding it to the "list of" article. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:52, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
Thanks. Although I think we could have this conversation without the offensive language. — Bali88 (talk) 22:12, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
- "Offensive"? Please spell out very carefully what language you consider offensive. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:44, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
- You used the word Dykes a couple of times. I'm not certain if they use that language to describe themselves, but it's not language I like to throw around. Bali88 (talk) 23:12, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
Request: contents of deleted page 'Thorwald Jørgensen'
Hi RHaworth,
I noticed that this page I submitted was deleted due to copyright problems (see reference below). The text in this article on thereminworld.com however was copied directly from Thorwald's bio (http://thorwaldjorgensen.com/en/bio) of which I'm the author. I would like to recreate this page and make it compliant to Misplaced Pages standards and then publish it.
If there is anything else I should take into consideration, please let me know.
With kind regards,
pgteekens

Centurlink India
Hi,
On 16th January 2015, you deleted the CenturyLink India wiki page citing () . The page was written and updated by multiple contributor including me and was initially titled Qwest Software Services since 2007 and then CenturyLink India from 2011. So am not sure what was meant by creator (who?) attempted to delete (what?) within 48 and again later but was unsuccessful --Sandyiit (talk) 05:29, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
"speedy deletion" of a page I created
Hello, I got a message that the page I created was up for speedy deletion and that I could contest that nomination by clicking on a link - but apparently I wasn't speedy enough... The argument was that the topic is aready coveered in the "Second Language" page. However, as a university professor who specializes in Second Language Acquisition, I can safely say that Second Language Fluency is but a subtopic of a very broad "second language" topic. The intended page, to be created by students in the Second Language Fluency Course and myself, is intended to provide more in-depth descriptions and pedagogocal implications, together with measures and characteristics of fluency. IN the Second Language page fluency is mentioned 3 times, but just as a general term similar to proficiency and the topic is neither covered in detail nor defined properly. Thank you Deborah — Preceding unsigned comment added by L2fluency (talk • contribs) 10:25, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
