Konispol (Albanian: Konispoli) is the southernmost town in Albania. It sits 1 kilometre away from the Albanian-Greek border. The town's main interests are farming, agriculture and viticulture and the majority of the town's 3500 residents are of Greek origin.
Κοnispol Caves
In 1992, 7 caves were discovered just north of the town. They dated from the Upper Paleolithic age to the Iron Age.
