Tennis tournament
Prague Open
Tennis area Štvanice

The Prague Open is a tennis tournament held in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic (the 1996 edition was held in Karlovy Vary and the 1999 edition in Prostějov). Held since 1992 but interrupted between 1999 and 2005, this WTA Tour event is a WTA International Tournaments and is played on outdoor clay courts at Tennis area Štvanice. The WTA International tournament was downgraded to an ITF $50,000 event due to financial reasons.

The tournament also features an ATP Challenger Series event since 1996, with an interruption in the years 2009-10. In 2014, two distinct Challenger Series events were hosted in Prague, in different venues: the first in June, at the TK Sparta Praha club, the second in August, at the I. ČLTK Praha club; both tournaments are played on red clay surface.
