Newark Broad Street Station is a historic New Jersey Transit commuter rail station in Newark, New Jersey. Built in 1906 by the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad to serve its line from Hoboken to Denville, the station's historic architecture includes an elegant clock tower and a brick and stone façade on the station's main building.
New Jersey Transit Rail Service
Broad Street Station is currently served by the Morristown Line and the Gladstone Branch of the Morris and Essex Lines, and the Montclair-Boonton Line.
New Jersey Transit Bus Service
Buses 11, 13, 27, 28, 29, 39, 41, 43, 72, 76, 78, and 108 stop regularly at this station in both directions.
Newark Light Rail Line
This station is the northern terminus of the Newark Light Rail line from Newark Penn Station. Service on this line opened on July 17, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. EDT.
