Misha Zilberman is an Israeli badminton player. Misha was born in Moscow, Russia on 30 January 1989. Misha is an only child for his father, Michael and his Mather, Svetlana. Misha's father, Michael was born in Russia in 1945 and came to Israel in 1991 with his wife Svetlana and son Misha. Svetlana was born in Belarus, she began playing Badminton at the age of 12, and this is also how she met Michael who was her coach, after a while the two got married.

Both Michael and Svetlana come from athletic backgrounds, Michael used to practice gymnastic and Svetlana played (and still playing) professional Badminton, her biggest accomplishment was winning a bronze medal in the Europe Badminton championship.

When Misha was still a baby he used to join his mother at her Badminton practice and with time he began playing himself, he did not have much choice being born to such a 'Badminton family'. At the age of 12 Misha began his serious daily training. He competed for Israel at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
