It seems doubly dishonest to first go in and remove your comments from a months-old discussion, then to edit from your IP address minutes after editing from your account. That first action makes other people's comments seem out of place, because the context of the discussion is no longer the same. It's not the first time that this subject has come up. | |||
When you then use an IP address to make the same edits, that just comes across as blatantly dishonest. ] (]) 04:52, 14 October 2015 (UTC) |

Please log in
Hi there, based on your editing pattern I believe that you are YahwehSaves. If you have a log in please use it so that it is easier to communicate with you. Communication is important since editing here at Misplaced Pages requires that we build consensus to achieve our aims and goals. In your recent edits to War Cross (Belgium), you have been removing the name War Cross and changing it to Croix de Guerre. Belgium is a trilingual country, I could just as easily go back and change it to Oorlogskruis, which is the medal's Dutch name. Since this is the English Misplaced Pages, English is the preferred language unless there is a compelling reason to use a foreign language. Hence the usage of War Cross, that way I do not choose sides in a country's language debate and remain neutral, which is another key tenet of Misplaced Pages. If you feel so very strongly about the name, before you make sweeping changes, try to build consensus on the talk page. Misplaced Pages does not have a deadline. I am going to change the name references back to conform with the article's title. Please make a case on the talk page for why it should be different. If you have sources please share them in our case. Cheers. EricSerge (talk) 05:07, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
South Vietnam medal names
FYI, take a look at this if you want official name for South Vietnamese medals: Medals and Decorations of the Republic of Vietnam Armed Forces - South Vietnam - 1967. A publication by the government of South Vietnam. It would not be necessary for the Vietnamese to call the a medal Republic of Vietnam Civil Actions Medal. The just call it Civil Actions Medal. Ask your self this question. What do Chinese people call Chinese food? The just call if food. Cheers. EricSerge (talk) 05:12, 7 January 2012 (UTC) I did use "Gallantry Cross" more than once. This isn't Misplaced Pages in Vietnamese or Misplaced Pages in Chinese but in Misplaced Pages in English. The Vietnamese awards manual is by the Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam). Misplaced Pages uses English, so its called the Vietnam or Vietnamese Gallantry Cross or "Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry" in Vietnam. With a palm its a called Vietnamese Gallantry Cross with Palm (not palm) according to the military awards manuals (military editors); French Croix de Guerre avec Palm (Croix de Guerre with Palm) not Croix de guerre or Croix de guerre with palm--Misplaced Pages (English). Discrimination.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Harold G. Schrier. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Jayjg 04:12, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
- Also, you're obviously YahwehSaves (talk · contribs), so please login when you edit. Jayjg 04:18, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
You're bias, discriminating, dishonest, and intimidating the wrong person. Introduction--Six Marines didn't "raise" the first flag--read Citation there. The photo says 2 are sitting when its clear to see there's only one sitting and it not Schrier (its Thomas). On and on.
Apology
Sorry, I assumed that the change of Urban to Urbanowitz was vandalism. I should have looked further. Sorry for removing your edits. Jim1138 (talk) 05:13, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
Login please
YahwehSaves (talk · contribs), you have an account. Login please when you're editing. Jayjg 14:00, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
Matt Urban: American: (not a Jew or Jewish American (a Jew who became an American citizen, and served in the U.S. military) U.S. Army Medal of Honor Recipient: (not Israel Medal of Honor recipient)
If you would have checked your Jewish Source, Talk, you would see that is not a ligitimate site since it has other non-Jews called Jewish besides Urban.
- Your response had nothing to do with logging in. Login please. Jayjg 03:31, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

Your recent edits
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 05:36, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

- Two other editors reverted you on the Clemente article before I did. That ought to tell you something. ←Baseball Bugs carrots→ 01:57, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
This tells me there is more than one rotten apple in the bunch of Misplaced Pages editors. Certain editors want to remove positive and accurate improvements (improvement of Article) not caring if its true or not or the Article's improved (which clearly showed enough of that). Evidence here right now is Urban got 2 Bronze Star Medals for valor and 1 for meritorious service not 3 BSM's for valor. No French Croix de Guerre has a "service" star, that's on certain American awards. He was awarded the French Croix de Guerre with silver gilt star in 1980 by France when he got the Medal of Honor. I improved Roger Maris, Mickey Mantle, Roberto Clemente , and Ernie Banks Article in a positive way-- Bugs Bunny maliciously removed all that w/o any positive improvement to their Articles but came here as fast as he could to remove somemore without caring about my Urban (being Jewish or not...) info being accurate or not. Seems some think and want to single out positive improvements to Articles as being not improvements in order to keep negative content. Audie Murphy's bio introduction is proof of that - "was a 5th grade dropout" held a long time without any positive improvement.
Do not insult
- YahwehSaves (a.k.a. sockpuppet 75.79.31.20), you are not being singled-out by me, you are being analyzed by many editors and administrators because you continue to make make disruptive edits. You have been educated on the policies & guidelines andmanual of style (to include use of an article's talk page "to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors") on numerous occasions. You've been warned, even blocked from editing for periods of time, because of your disruptive edits and choice to ignore the policies & guidelines and manual of style.
- Additionally, you make shadowing edits without logging into your account, which is sockpuppeting (another violation), and thatIP address has been punished previously as well.
- You are not new. In more than 13 months of editing, rather than educating yourself on & adhering to the publications you've been provided, you've chosen to continue your disruptive edits, and even engaged in edit warring (another violation). Having done so, you've lost much credibility in the Misplaced Pages community.
- Now, because you are being warned with punishment again and each of your edits are being scrutinized, you are taking this personal and displaying and offensive posture with insults (another violation). Research the publications you've been provided with, then follow the information provided. If you require further education, please see the principles of Misplaced Pages. Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Matt Urban may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
- List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
