The Palestinian Authority threatened news people to stop airing similar footage (cited in article) and Yasser Arafat made a show (BBC phrasing, also cited in article) out of donating blood. Palestinian media, both Fatah and Hamas celebrate the event and Bin Laden as well (cited to PMW).
