Others had been reverting that particular edit before me. Routine reverts of obvious banned socks are done via rollback, which by default doesn't leave an explanation in an edit summary. The vandal in question is a criminal harasser, every edit of his on this project constitutes a continuation of that harassment, and people who persistently obstruct dealing with him are not much better than the harasser himself. You know perfectly well why those IPs are being reverted and whose socks they are. The IP was blocked, as you (or that other editor) could easily have looked up.
