Yumna Zaidi is a Pakistani television actress. One of the most popular and highest-paid Pakistani celebrities, she has established a carers in Pakistani television industry and has received six Hum Award nominations.

Zaidi, born and raised in Lahore, made her acting debut with a supporting role in the ARY Digital series Thakan—and received critical appreciation for her performance. That same year, she played the lead female role in the commercially successful drama Khushi Ek Roag. Zaidi received praise for portraying central characters in the dramas, Geo TV's Meri Dulari (2013) and Hum TV's Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahi (2013) and received the Hum Award for Best Supporting Actress nomination for the later. She established herself as a leading Pakistani actress for her role in the tragic romance Rishtay Kuch Adhooray Se (2013), that earned her critical acclaim as well as Hum Award for Best Actress and Best Actress Popular nominations. Zaidi subsequently gained recognition for her versatility in portraying a range of unconventional character in series such as Mausam (2014), Guzaarish (2015), Jugnoo (2015), Zara Yaad Kar (2016) and Oontini (2016), all of which garnered her critical acclaim and several accolades.
