It featured just one song recorded in the 2000's (”That Ain’t Hip-Hop" featuring Rapper Fam-Illy). Two music videos were produced to promote the EP (“Dun Da Lye"and "That Ain’t Hip-Hop”). Bruse followed it up with his highly regarded 2016 album, ''The Earl Manigault Of Rap'' (released November 23, 2015). Bruse Wane was born on the Caribbean island of ], and given the name Bruce at the time of his birth by his grandmother. Bruse immigrated to the United States of America in the late 1970s with his sister and uncle. Initially Bruse settled in the Fordham Road section of ], New York with his birth mother. Eventually they relocated to the ] section of the Bronx in the ] Projects. It is there he began his rapping career. He altered the spelling of his birth name Bruce by replacing the c with an s (Bruse),and added the last name Wane as a moniker.
