There has been numerous new recognized content, so much that it's too time-consuming to sift through the "trophy cases" on WP:HOCKEY. Some interesting achievements:

2016 NHL Draft has been newly created and has immediately become a GA status article.
The Vancouver Canucks task force has become active again, thanks to Canuckian89!
J.D. Watt has been declined at WP:AFD.
Drafts related to the OHL have been published!

We are working to create a new task force within the WikiProject to deal with topics related to the Pittsburgh Penguins. It hasn't been created yet; but it aims to expand articles based on former and current Pittsburgh Penguins players and articles. Good luck!

Many player articles selected in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft have yet not been created. Help us create these articles using hockeydb.com and eliteprospects.com!
Add a picture for Mike Condon (ice hockey).
Expand NHL 16.
Keep the task forces alive by recruiting new members that have constructively edited to the task force-related articles.
Update rosters and keep an eye on Free Agency 2016 at NHL.com!
Patrol our very own Ice hockey watchlist and the NHL watchlist for vandalism and BLP issues.
Patrol new articles based on our task force!

More editors are needed to help out with the newsletter. The newsletter creator doesn't have an infinite nor perfect supply of ideas, and thus he might omit some interesting news.
