She began her career with a supporting role in the 2012 romance Thakan, following which she featured in a leading role in the ARY Digital's drama Khushi Ek Roag. She received critical acclaim and several accolades for portraying female leads in several of the Hum TV's successful series, including the family drama Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahi (2013), the tragic romances Rishtay Kuch Adhooray Se (2013) and Mausam (2014), and the dramedy Jugnoo (2015), thus established her as one of the most popular actresses of Pakistan.
