=== Anomaly in Sindh Local Govt Act 2013 ===
<nowiki>*</nowiki>it is to be noted, a notable anomaly of Sindh Local Govt Act which declares a city of 15 UCs, Larkana as municipal corporation having a mayor where as the fourth largest city of Sindh, Mirpurkhas having 46 UCs as municipal committee devoid of any corporation or mayor. Although Punjab Local govt Act clearly defines a municipal corporation based on urban area exceeding 500,000 population, Sindh Local Act only declares that <blockquote>(iv) a Municipal Corporation for each City comprising of Union Committees as prescribed by the Government; ('''CHAPTER- III CONSTITUTION AND COMPOSITION OF COUNCILS 16. CONSTITUTION OF COUNCIL)'''</blockquote>There is no definite criteria for declaring municipal corporation in Sindh Local Act 2013 as opposed to Punjab Local Act 2013
