| Hello! I see that you've gotten out of the mapping business on Misplaced Pages, which is quite reasonable. That being the case, would you be willing to share the data you've collected so that the rest of us can build on your excellent work without having to rebuild things from square one? Any form of vector or geographic data would be great - as of now we just have the final rendered bitmap, and scattered SVGs for various countries, so it'd be nice to have the collected dataset to work with. | |||

Contests
User:Dr. Blofeld has created Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Africa/Contests. The idea is to run a series of contests/editathons focusing on each region of Africa. He has spoken to Wikimedia about it and $1000-1500 is possible for prize money. As someone who has previously expressed interest in African topics, would you be interested in contributing to one or assisting draw up core article/missing article lists? He says he's thinking of North Africa for an inaugural one in October.
