The Canadian Federation of Students (CFS) is a large union of university students unions in Canada. The group is well known for its activism. Currently student groups representing 450,000 students are represented by the CFS. Founded in 1981 the CFS that battles for more than lower tuition and opposed the 2003 invasion of Iraq.

The CFS also manages the International Student Identification Card in Canada and owns the Travel Cuts travel agency.

In 1995, after much dissatisfaction with the way CFS was run, several students' union's split off to form the Canadian Alliance of Students Associations, which has 19 member organizations.
