Translation
Probably its due to them following the thread and possibly not wanting to contradict one of the editors in question. I will say this though there are many Albanian articles that are in need of attention. Even on Albanian Misplaced Pages. Give me a message or send me a email in Albanian (which are on my Albanian talkpage) and i can send you articles etc so you can edit.Best my friend.Resnjari (talk) 05:08, 23 December 2015 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 1
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Pal Kastrioti, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kephale (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Your edits on Arber Zeneli
Hello DevilWearsBrioni,
I must say, I was very supriced reading you were new to Misplaced Pages, since your editing and content adding skills are of high quality. Your contributions to Misplaced Pages are very important very appreciated, so is your contributions on Arber Zeneli. However I have some thoughts. There are many professional footballers that's been praised as super talents and in my opinion it's not worthy enough to be in the lead section of a footballer - since it's all about to be a short summary of the person, not of how he is described as. That and the fact that citations doesn't do well in leads overall, which makes me suggest you delete that part in the lead. And since you're into adding content on his page, I'd suggest and wish you - if you have time and effort - to add a section about his 2014 season with Elfsborg, which was an remarkable season. That's needed information on his article in my opinion.
Yet again, welcome to Misplaced Pages! Your contributions matters! If you have any questions or opinions, feel free to answer here or ask at my Talk page. Take care and have a nice weekend. // Psemmler (talk) 02:33, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
- Hello Psemmler! Först och främst, tack ska du ha för dom uppmuntrande orden :)
- I will take your word for it, and have removed that part. Do you think there's an appropriate section to add it to?
- With regards to his 2014 season in Elfsborg, that shouldn't be too hard. I'll work on it moving forward. DevilWearsBrioni (talk) 10:47, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
- I've written about Anders Svensson's citations in the section about his time in Elfsborg, that should be enough. If you feel your sentence about it was better written than mine, you can edit that part and cut in yours instead. Lovely! // Psemmler (talk) 18:53, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
- I would also edit "fifth grade" to his age at that time, since fifth grade can be different age depending on what time of the year you're born or what country you're from. What grade he was in school when he went to Borås is pretty irrelevant. // Psemmler (talk) 18:55, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
- I don't know what age he was. He does not specify his age, he simply says that they moved to Borås when he was in fifth grade.DevilWearsBrioni (talk) 21:01, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
- Never mind. Found another source in which age is specified. DevilWearsBrioni (talk) 21:04, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
Stats in football players' infoboxes and update of career stats
Hi.
When you update the stats in football players' infoboxes please remember that you should also update the timestamps as of when the stats are correct. This is done by updating |pcupdate=
(or |club-update=
) parameter when updating club appearances and goals, or |ntupdate=
(or |nationalteam-update=
) when updating national team appearances and goals. The easiest way to do this is to use five tildes, which automatically converts to the current time. For example |club-update=~~~~~
.
When you update the career statistics please remember that you should also update that timestamp as well to a time when the stats are correct. This is done by manually updating the date above or below the statistics table. By doing this we show when the stats were last updated and it prevents other editors from accidentally updating the stats again.
This is done to show other editors when the stats were last updated and prevent them from accidentally updating the stats again, and also it shows readers that it has been updated.
Please keep this in mind. Thank you. Qed237 (talk) 16:12, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
Multiple inline citations for the same reference.
Hello.
I've seen on your edits that you often makes two different inline citations for the same reference. You can avoid that by naming a specific reference that you want to use more than once in the text, for example "albania", which you can do by "{ref name="albania"}..cite web etc....{/ref}. When you want to use the same reference again, you can simply write {ref name="albania"/}. Note that you should change { } to < >. // Psemmler (talk) 17:01, 29 January 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you for the advise! I believe that's the result of me trying to manually add references. :) DevilWearsBrioni (talk) 17:20, 29 January 2016 (UTC)

Cultural Exchanges between the people and dates
Hello. It came to my notice that you have done some edits-reverts in the article Fustanella, where you have decided to remove a source, I shall note that I can not disagree with the possibility of the Fustanella being the result of cultural exchange (or cultural influence) between Albanians and Greeks, since these two people were neighbors for so many hundreds of years, but more importantly, it was the emigration of Albanians to Greece that contributed the most to the positive and close interactions between the two peoples. Given this, it is important to not ignore the date and chronological estimes regarding this matter. -- SILENTRESIDENT (talk) 22:53, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
- I made my opinion clear here. Keywords: implicit conclusion, synthesis. DevilWearsBrioni (talk) 22:40, 19 May 2016 (UTC)
- I have checked your message in the noticeboard but honestly I don't see how it helps with my concerns for dates and chronology. I still believe there is the problem with the way the phrases are presented that ignores chronological estimes and dates. Since the removal of the phrase "the Y happened after X" only makes things less clear in terms of chronological estimes, the paragraph had to be resorted in a chronological order to help make things less messy: "...Archaeological evidence shows that the fustanella was already in common use in Greek lands as early as the 12th century but is also believed that the fustanella was introduced into Greece by Albanians in the 15th century...". I hope this helps. -- SILENTRESIDENT (talk) 05:44, 20 May 2016 (UTC)

Warning on Disruptive Edits on Expulsion of Cham Albanians
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Misplaced Pages, as you did at Expulsion of Cham Albanians. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Misplaced Pages's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Misplaced Pages's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. -- SILENTRESIDENT (talk) 16:49, 17 June 2016 (UTC)
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.Alexikoua (talk) 18:37, 17 June 2016 (UTC)

ANI notification - August 2016
There is currently a discussion at Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. SILENTRESIDENT 15:53, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
Your Request
You don't appear to have discussed any issue within the past few weeks about which you would be requesting assistance. Please go back to an article talk page and discuss any issue. Robert McClenon (talk) 17:22, 20 September 2016 (UTC)
- User:Robert McClenon - I'm not entirely sure what you mean. The issue has been discussed extensively on the talk page. Following the DRN closure a couple of weeks ago you recommended a RfC for a binding decision which is why I approached you for help. Not sure what has changed since then? DevilWearsBrioni (talk) 18:08, 20 September 2016 (UTC)
- Where is the recent discussion? There has been no discussion that I can see within the past month. The discussion earlier than that is now stale. Has there been more recent discussion? Robert McClenon (talk) 18:46, 20 September 2016 (UTC)
- There has been no recent discussion, the most recent discussion was at DRN, about the same time I approached you for help. The plan was to do a RfC based on your recommendation after the DRN was closed, and I didn't see the need for further discussion since it was pretty clear that we weren't getting anywhere on the talk page. I held back on the RfC and refrained from editing/discussing the article for several weeks because I expected SilentResident to go through with the AE report. Now that SilentResident has decided to withdraw their report, RfC seems to be the only viable option, no? DevilWearsBrioni (talk) 20:02, 20 September 2016 (UTC)

Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Misplaced Pages, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The Committee's full decision can be read in the Misplaced Pages:Requests for arbitration/Macedonia#Final decision section of the decision page.
Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Misplaced Pages:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions, with the appropriate sections of Misplaced Pages:Arbitration Committee/Procedures, and with the case decision page. |

Request for mediation accepted
The request for formal mediation of the dispute concerning Expulsion of Cham Albanians, in which you were listed as a party, has been accepted by the Mediation Committee. The case will be assigned to an active mediator within two weeks, and mediation proceedings should begin shortly thereafter. Proceedings will begin at the case information page, Misplaced Pages:Requests for mediation/Expulsion of Cham Albanians, so please add this to your watchlist. Formal mediation is governed by the Mediation Committee and its Policy. The Policy, and especially the first two sections of the "Mediation" section, should be read if you have never participated in formal mediation. For a short guide to accepted cases, see the "Accepted requests" section of the Guide to formal mediation. You may also want to familiarise yourself with the internal Procedures of the Committee.
As mediation proceedings begin, be aware that formal mediation can only be successful if every participant approaches discussion in a professional and civil way, and is completely prepared to compromise. Please contact the Committee if anything is unclear.
