I grew up in Plaquemines Parish and my family, until Katrina, lived there (and will) for generations. I edited the reference to the parish being called 'Kuwait' due to the fact that no one has ever heard of such a nickname! Will continue monitor... |

The 145mph as stands is now incorrect. Someone should adjust to the assessment corresponding to the Katrina post Tropical Cyclone report.

Kuwait Nickname
I grew up in Plaquemines Parish and my family, until Katrina, lived there (and will) for generations. I edited the reference to the parish being called 'Kuwait' due to the fact that no one has ever heard of such a nickname! Will continue monitor...
