I know you have an interest in mining because of your edits to the article on Mining. Inspired by a beautiful photo of synthetic bismuth that I found on Wikimedia Commons, I read the article on bismuth. I then proceeded to read articles on other elements. I'm now at ]. I noticed in the map of production in ] that the location of greatest production is in the United States, somewhere around Pennsylvania or West Virginia. However, that is not mentioned anywhere in the article. I'm wondering why. Also, that map itself is a bit out of date now. Do you know where a more up-to-date map could be found? ] (]) 15:53, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
:The map creator simply put the big dot on Washington DC rather than out west where the mines are. I've removed the image as confusing and outdated (9 year old data). Thought about asking the user who made the map to fix/update ... but it appears that user has been indef blocked. ] (]) 14:04, 13 April 2014 (UTC)

==May 2014 disambig contest: let's do it again!==
Greetings fellow disambiguator! Remember back in February when we made history by clearing the board for the first time ever, for the monthly disambiguation contest? Let's do it again in May! I personally will be aiming to lead the board next month, but for anyone who thinks they can put in a better effort, I will give a $10 Amazon gift card to any editor who scores more disambiguation points in May. Also, I will be setting up a one-day contest later in the month, and will try to set up more prizes and other ways to make this a fun and productive month. Cheers! ] ] 18:48, 28 April 2014 (UTC)

BAG assistance needed
Hi Josh! There are quite a few Requests for bot approval that are awaiting BAG assistance. Would you be willing to look at some of these? Thanks in advance! GoingBatty (talk) 23:12, 3 May 2014 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Hexes (band)
The article Hexes (band) has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.
While all constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Catlemur (talk) 12:36, 21 July 2014 (UTC)
MfD nomination of Talk:Coefficient of fractional parentage
Talk:Coefficient of fractional parentage, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Misplaced Pages:Miscellany for deletion/Talk:Coefficient of fractional parentage and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Talk:Coefficient of fractional parentage during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Jwoodward48wiki (talk) 22:27, 26 July 2014 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Template:Experimental archiving
A tag has been placed on Template:Experimental archiving requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is an unused duplicate of another template, or a hard-coded instance of another template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is not actually the same as the other template noted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page explaining how this one is different so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{substituted}}</noinclude>).
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page's talk page, where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Old tags
Hi Josh Parris. I am trying to cleanup User:AnomieBOT/Nobots Hall of Shame. Am I right to believe that I should remove all tags that are about WildBot? They are most probably outdated by now. -- Magioladitis (talk) 16:07, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
Talk:Outline of the United States broken link section is outdated
Hi there,
I checked links listed as broken in Talk:Outline of the United Statesand they are all ok. Is it ok to delete this long list or you will do it yourself? There are some other links Outline of the United States that need fixing but not the once listed on Talk page. For example: International Politics of the United States. Please advice... Broken links tool?
I tried the tool on Talk:Gemara, it didn't work and I ended up here. Is it down temporarily? --Dweller (talk) 12:15, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Loosing feeling listed at Redirects for discussion
An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Loosing feeling. Since you had some involvement with the Loosing feeling redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Little Professor (talk) 01:46, 25 September 2016 (UTC)
