Indian Parliament Opposition parties, during the Indian Parliament winter session of 2016, in Lok Sabha announced , Aakrosh Diwas, on the 6th day of winter session of Indian Parliament, to be held on 28 November 2016, Nation wide protest, against the note ban by the BJP-led NDA regime's .

Purpose

Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Anand Sharma, confirmed that on November 28 , 2016, will be observed as , a protest campaign day , 'Aakrosh Diwas'. The protest came in view from opposition parties, claiming, that the common man of India is suffering from the note ban.

The Opposition has decided to observe November 28 as ‘Aakrosh Diwas’ and launch protests in front of banks, demanding that money be returned to people.

Major Political parties

Major parties which participated in the protest were Indian National Congress, Bahujan Samaj Party, Trinamool Congress, DMK, JD(U), AIADMK, Nationalist Congress Party, Left, Rashtriya Janata Dal and the Samajwadi Party.

Uproar of Opposition parties in winter session 2016

On the 6 th day of winter session of Indian Parliament, November, 2016. Indian National Congress,to launch country wide protests against, on Nov 28 and to observe the day as Aakrosh Diwas.

There was strong uproar by opposition parties, on the note ban of 8 November 2016.. The opposition parties, have called for Nation wide protest Bharat Bandh on 28 November 2016 . More than a dozen of political parties, opposing the note ban, have collectively, decided to campaign against the note ban.
