Jon Gaunt is an outspoken morning talk show presenter for talkSPORT. He had earlier works at BBC Three Counties Radio and BBC WM. He then moved onto BBC London. After leaving BBC London he took a new position with BBC Coventry & Warwickshire but left after a montn under the excuse of it conflicted with BBC editorial guidelines, which prevent its journalists working for other media (he was writing a column in The Sun newspaper. However, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May, Vanessa Feltz, and Danny Baker to name but a few, all have columns in national titles - Clarkson even with the Sun).

Sony Awards

Gaunt's head expanded in 2001, when he won three Sony Radio Academy Gold Awards: News Coverage Award, Breakfast News & Talk Award and News Broadcaster Award for his work on the BBC Three Counties Radio Breakfast Show.

Controversy

Jon Gaunt's career has seen it's fair share of controversy over the years. He has been up before the UK Broadcasting Standards Commission five times, three of those times the complaints made against him were upheld . He has also been criticised for suggesting to listeners that they come to a visit by the Deputy Prime Minister with bricks .
