KPBI-CA is a Class-A low power MyNetworkTV affiliated television station in Fort Smith, Arkansas, broadcasting on channel 46. The station is owned by Equity Broadcasting and like many of Equity stations, KPBI-CA is controlled remotely via satellite from Equity's headquarters in Little Rock, Arkansas, and is relayed in encrypted form via the satellite Galaxy 10R (Ku-band transponder 21).
Until August 28, 2006, KPBI-CA was the FOX affiliate for this market, and was referred to on the air as FOX Arkansas.
KPBI-CA lost the FOX affiliation to KFTA-TV on August 28, even though Equity Broadcasting challenged the sale of KFTA-TV with the FCC. KPBI-CA has joined FOX's new sister network, MyNetworkTV. There is no known MNTV logo or website for KBPI-CA. Sister station KFDF-CA, which is currently the UPN affiliate, will instead join the Retro Television Network.
