Martin Scorsese (born November 17, 1942) is an American director, producer, screenwriter, actor, and film historian, whose career spans more than 50 years. Scorsese has directed twenty-four narrative films to date.
Some of his movies, such as Mean Streets, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, and Goodfellas, are ranked among the greatest films of all time.
