In the climb of fame of producer Tetsuya Komuro, he organized one of his castings searching for new singers in 1994, specially one that was called EUROGROOVE NIGHT. The young girl Keiko Yamada assited there encouraged by her friends, and her voice undoubtedly got the atention of Komuro instantly, and chose her initially for a solo career. Other one of the careers that TK was thinking to produce at that time was of the model and MTV VJ Marc Panther, who knew English and French apart from Japanese. Komuro finally had an idea to make a band using Keiko and Marc in main vocals, and himself as keyboardist and also some vocals.
The band signed with label Avex in 1995, creating their own sub-label, called avex globe. In August of the same year they released their first single, entitled "Feel Like dance". Also a second Best of album was released to commemorate the first 8 years of musical career of globe, and was entitled 8 Years ~Many Classic Moments~ (#2 at Oricon) to give a turn back into this new era in the band's life.
After the release of a new album called LEVEL 4 (the first and only with YOSHIKI), the band stopped releasing new stuff and started a 2 year hiatus, where members started to go solo. Keiko was the first one in go solo releasing her first single KCO in December 2003, and months later in 2004 Marc started her solo project under the pseudonym of 245, project that has plans for international projection beyond Japan.
