Forgive me if I missed this, but in reading the account of the 2000 election I did not notice a reference to Al Gore's having won the popular vote, nor any refernce to the controversy regarding Sandra Day O'Connor's alleged reaction to the early call of Florida for Gore, which if true revealed her bias and was grounds for recusing herself. There does not appear to be any sort of mention about his response to Hurricane Katrina (compared to how it describes how he responded to 9/11). It was a major event that happened on his watch, and, as such, ought to be mentioned. |
