Disambiguation link notification for October 4

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Siddur, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Karaites (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

unicode.org

Greek_alphabet#External_links shows false version 5 of Unicode, while new version is higher, nearly approaching 10. Please remove these versions from this section. All linked sites are versionless as of Unicode and are constantly updating as Unicode goes newer and newer.

I am sorry I am not an expert in unicode Informationskampagne (talk) 16:16, 24 October 2015 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Romaniote Jews may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Please be aware that when you make an edit and it is reverted, you should really establish consensus on the talkpage, instead of reverting. What you do is called edit warring, and is not appreciated on Misplaced Pages. Debresser (talk) 17:14, 21 July 2016 (UTC)

@Debresser: I(?!) am doing edit warring? Informationskampagne (talk) 12:21, 22 July 2016 (UTC)

Precisely. See also WP:BRD, WP:EDITWAR. Debresser (talk) 13:39, 22 July 2016 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Julia G. Krivoruchko

The article Julia G. Krivoruchko has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no reliable references. Under Misplaced Pages policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. —Oluwa2Chainz »» (talk to me) 22:11, 8 November 2016 (UTC)

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

Hello, Informationskampagne. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

1RR

You have just broken the 1RR on the West Bank, please self revert, before you are reported, (Yupp, rules are extremely strict in the WP:ARBPIA3 area...) (And yes, personally I think the water crisis merits a section, but I think we should do better than sources like https://blog.br.de. Haaretz has written a bit about it, btw.) March 2017

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Misplaced Pages. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Land Forces of the National People's Army. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Misplaced Pages this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Misplaced Pages is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Dr. K. 02:57, 6 March 2017 (UTC)

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Land Forces of the National People's Army. This contravenes Misplaced Pages's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. Dr. K. 02:57, 6 March 2017 (UTC)

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Misplaced Pages's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Frederica of Hanover, you may be blocked from editing. Dr. K. 02:58, 6 March 2017 (UTC)

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Misplaced Pages, as you did at Tourism in Greece ‎. Dr. K. 03:04, 6 March 2017 (UTC)

Use of royalchronicles.gr as a source for articles

Recently you have been adding statements to our articles which are only sourced to a web site at http://www.royalchronicles.gr. This site is appears to be published by α person named Euterpe Pistofidou, according to the 'Ταυτοτητα' page, so it looks to be a personal web site. We have a page that warns about the use of WP:Self-published sources: "Anyone can create a personal web page or publish their own book, and also claim to be an expert in a certain field.")

It is unlikely that royalchronicles.gr qualifies as a valid source of information for Misplaced Pages under our WP:Reliable sources policy. Your continued addition of such material might lead to a complaint at one of our noticeboards. To avoid sanctions, you should stop these additions and search for better sources for the changes you want to make. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 04:29, 6 March 2017 (UTC)

@EdJohnston: Thanks to you! You are doing a great work. Informationskampagne (talk) 12:29, 6 March 2017 (UTC)

March 2017

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Misplaced Pages, as you did at Konstantinos Karamanlis. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Misplaced Pages's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Misplaced Pages's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. If you are reverted, discuss first. If you have legitimate concerns about the accuracy of content, tag it, bring it to the talk page, or better yet, bring sources to support or reject it. Simply removing chunks of text that we both know to be perfectly fine merely to prove a WP:POINT in a dispute with another editor is childish. Constantine 19:26, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
