| My recommendation to you? If you really want to make a positive contribution to the wikipedia, find some topics you find interesting, and work to add more content to them. Lots of articles have fallen out of date, because the contributors who enjoyed creating articles, updating articles, started to feel harassed by contributors who focussed on quality control, and weren't polite about it.
