3RR explained
You initiated a discussion at WP:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring where you suggested I lapsed from compliance with WP:3RR. An administrator closed this section, concluding I had not lapsed from 3RR. They didn't explain to you why my edits didn't lapse from 3rr.
I am going to explain 3RR as if you were a brand new contributor, reading our policies and guidelines for the first time. That is what you told me you were.
3RR prohibits repeating the same edit more than three times, in a 24 hour period.
While I made essentially the same edit, four times, the first two edits were separated from the second pair by more than 24 hours. So, 3RR does not apply. Geo Swan (talk) 00:27, 5 August 2017 (UTC)

I suggest that, if you had referred back to WP:3RR, so you could leave me a more specific warning, you might have realized that you were misinterpreting the wikidocument.
