Welcome to Misplaced Pages. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Avogadro constant. Chemistry
I agree with another editor that your new image is not better than the picture of flasks that has been in the article for a long time. I have reverted your change. Do not try to add it back. The process now is for you to seek consensus at Talk:Chemistry if you want to add it back. --Bduke (Discussion) 21:39, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
- I have added a detailed list of pros and cons on the chemistry talk page, explaining why I think the picture with the reaction of water is more appropriate for the page than that of the flasks. I hope to get some feedback from you and the other editor who reverted the first version of the new figure. Next time I add a new figure, I will give a longer explanation up front. Thanks for the suggestion to discuss this on the discussion page. I'm looking forward to a good exchange, and am interested to hear was everyone has to say on this matter.
License tagging for File:Hydrogen and oxygen react to form water.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Hydrogen and oxygen react to form water.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Misplaced Pages uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Misplaced Pages.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Misplaced Pages:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:05, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
