Nancy Jewel McDonie (Korean: 낸시 조월 맥다니; born April 13, 2000), referred to as Nancy, is a South Korean singer. She is a member of the Korean pop girl group MOMOLAND. Nancy is the youngest member of the group. Nancy is also the current host of Arirang TV's most popular music program, Pops in Seoul.

Early life

Nancy was born on Thursday, April 13, 2000 in Daegu, South Korea. Her father, Richard Jowel McDonie, is an American of Irish descent, and her mother, Lee Myeong-ju (Hangul: 이명주), is a Korean. Her older sister, Brenda Lee McDonie, is a cellist.

She was raised in the USA, and then returned to South Korea in time to attend high school with some of her future group mates. Nancy, Jane, and JooE all attended the Hanlim Multi Arts High School.

In 2011, Nancy competed on the first season of Korea's Got Talent.

Career

Nancy debuted on November 10, 2016, as a member of MOMOLAND. She is one of the winners of survival program Finding Momoland on Mnet.

They have already released 2 extended plays (Welcome to Momoland and Freeze!) with 3 singles.

On March 27, 2017, she became the host of Ariang TV's Pops in Seoul.
