The show made its debut in syndication on January 12, 1985. The show was created in 1984 by Hank Parker and Michael Runnels. The show was produced first by Parker/Runnels Productions from 1985 to 1998, and then, by Hank Parker Productions from 1998-present.

During each half-hour segment, Hank Parker gives you the scoop on catching a fish, as well as inviting guests to share some of the most outdoor fishing adventures. Guests included Frank O.
