Ace Ventura, Jr. is the tentative title for the third entry in the Ace Ventura film franchise. Like Son of the Mask and Dumb and Dumberer, this film is a sequel to one of the three 1994 films that launched Jim Carrey to superstardom. Nobody has been announced to star, but the film, like the other sequels, will not star Jim Carrey (a few years earlier, Warner Bros. considered a sequel with Carrey, but plans seem to have been ditched). The story will revolve around the pet detective's son and his attempt to take over the family business.

It is scheduled to be released in 2008.
