The Very Secret Diaries

Back in 2005, you participated in an AFD discussion this article. It was kept, but I have renominated it for deletion. Your comments are welcome at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/The Very Secret Diaries (2nd nomination). Robofish (talk) 01:24, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for filing this investigation. It was nice having some outside eyes looking at the issue. Regards, P. D. Cook 05:17, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Alpha Chi Rho

The article Alpha Chi Rho has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non notable, unreferenced

While all contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. WuhWuzDat 22:55, 10 April 2011 (UTC)

Request for comment

This message is being sent to you because you have previously edited the Misplaced Pages:Naming conventions (use English) page. There is currently a discussion that may result in a significant change to Misplaced Pages policy. Specifically, a consensus is being sought on if the policies of WP:UCN and WP:EN continues to be working policies for naming biographical articles, or if such policies have been replaced by a new status quo. This discussion is on-going at Misplaced Pages talk:Naming conventions (use English), and your comments would be appreciated. Dolovis (talk) 17:02, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

Redirect for Timbuktu

Hi RasputinAXP. I recently wanted to create a redirect "Timbaktu" for the above-mentioned article. I find that there was an article by this name and it was deleted previously (by you). Is it OK to create a redirect by that name?-MW 06:15, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

I haven't been an admin in a very long time. I think there was some band that called themselves that and I deleted it. I don't see any reason you can't.  RasputinAXP  11:46, 7 September 2011 (UTC)
Thanks. When I opened the new article creation page for that name, I found a message that I should contact you before creating the page. Hence the question. Regards :-)MW 12:03, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

Undeletion

Hi RasputinAXP,

It would be nice if we could undelete the page for Rune Linding (http://en.wikipedia.org/Rune_Linding). Could you help? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.60.1.46 (talk) 21:12, 18 April 2012 (UTC)

Nope. I'm not an admin anymore. Sorry.  RasputinAXP  05:08, 20 April 2012 (UTC)

Notice of change

Hello. You are receiving this message because of a recent change to the administrator policy that alters what you were told at the time of your desysopping. The effect of the change is that if you are inactive for a continuous three year period, you will be unable to request return of the administrative user right. This includes inactive time prior to your desysopping if you were desysopped for inactivity and inactive time prior to the change in policy. Inactivity is defined as the absence of edits or logged actions. Until such time as you have been inactive for three years, you may request return of the tools at the bureaucrats' noticeboard. After you have been inactive for three years, you may seek return of the tools only through WP:RFA. Thank you. MBisanz 00:20, 4 December 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for July 4

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Lehigh university talk page: concerns over your behavior

I'm just writing to you to express my concerns about your behavior at the Lehigh University talk page. In providing your input on the topic under debate in that discussion, you have made several personal remarks about me. This started when you suggested that there was a direct relation between me and the individuals upon which I was editing about, as shown here . I warned you that your remarks were assuming bad faith and were personal in nature because they related to me as opposed to the content of the article. This is against talk page policies. You would then follow this up by continuing to relate the discussion to me by uncivilly bringing up stuff about my retirement notice here at Misplaced Pages in a discussion in which this is entirely irrelevant, as shown here . I am now choosing to address your behavior here as your remarks don't belong at that talk page and will merely throw off the focus of that debate. So, here at Misplaced Pages, policy states that commentary that focuses on users and not the content DOES NOT belong on article talk pages. Policies state that discussion is to be content-focused on article talk pages. I have copy and pasted these policies for you below so that you are aware:

Misplaced Pages:Avoid personal remarks states "The purpose of talk pages is to discuss how to improve articles. If you have opinions about the contributions others have made, feel free to discuss those contributions on any relevant talk page. But if you have opinions about other contributors as people, they don't belong there – or frankly, anywhere on Misplaced Pages."

WP:No personal attacks states "As a matter of polite and effective discourse, comments should not be personalized. That is, they should be directed at content and actions rather than people. In disputes, the word "you" should be avoided when possible."

WP:What is a personal attack states "Accusations about personal behavior that lack evidence. Serious accusations require serious evidence. Evidence often takes the form of diffs and links presented on wiki."AmericanDad86 (talk) 15:50, 29 August 2013 (UTC)

I asked a question, I didn't state. I was an Administrator, you don't need to quote chapter and verse at me. If you thought you were being attacked, then you don't know what being attacked is. Your WP:UNDUE additions to the article are as overwrought as your comment here. Kindly pound sand.  RasputinAXP  18:49, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
Shut up! You're not an admin anymore so shut up! Stop making a pest out of yourself, stop bringing up past adminships to pass off that you're above the rules, cut the crap, and contribute respectably otherwise get the hell off Misplaced Pages. AmericanDad86 (talk) 19:42, 22 September 2013 (UTC)

Sussex County high school SAT rankings

Your recent edit to the article for Newton High School (New Jersey) (and for other high schools in Sussex County) makes the claim that it "ranked second in Sussex County out of nine other public high schools in SAT scores". Beyond the fact that the source is a bare link to a URL, the source itself makes no mention of a county ranking by SAT score, as I read it. Am I missing something here?

The rankings are based on the relative scores as listed on the NJ Schools Report Card as linked. I went looking for them when I ran into the similar statement on the previous revision of the article. Realistically I think even having them at all is unnecessary but when I went to source/update the info I found it was wrong. The rankings are not listed directly in the NJSRC but feel free to edit or remove them at your leisure.  RasputinAXP  19:56, 18 March 2015 (UTC)

Face Changing/ Bian Lian listed at Redirects for discussion

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Face Changing/ Bian Lian. Since you had some involvement with the Face Changing/ Bian Lian redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Psychonaut (talk) 10:27, 9 August 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Template:GretzkyArchive

A tag has been placed on Template:GretzkyArchive requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is an unused duplicate of another template, or a hard-coded instance of another template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is not actually the same as the other template noted, please consider putting a note on the template's page explaining how this one is different so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{substituted}}</noinclude>).

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
