Polymath
Please don't add people to the list that you consider polymaths, unless you have a reliable source you can quote that call them "polymath". Otherwise, the article breaches WP:NOR, WP:NPOV and WP:V. Thanks. --Dweller (talk) 15:23, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

Thank you for uploading File:Safvet_beg_Basagic.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Misplaced Pages takes copyright very seriously. List of converts to Islam
Thank you for your edit here to the above page, where you added Dharmendra however the page is not for those who have converted for reasons of marriage
taken from the top of the page :
The following is an incomplete list of notable people who converted to Islam from a different religion or no religion. This article addresses only past professions of faith by the individuals listed, and is not intended to address ethnic, cultural, or other considerations, such as marriage. Such cases are noted in their list entries.
Hope this helps Codf1977 (talk) 22:48, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for June 24
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kashmiri literature, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nizami (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

- Hi I have reverted your edits again----you should know that is the biography of Muhammad Iqbal not the Muhammad khan, you are mentioning his part of bio, what is important in this passage to readers. I disagree with your expanding edits, if you have concerns about that, please feel free to discuss that on the talk page of the article. I hope this helps. ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. NPOV
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit waron the page Ranveer Singh. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Barthateslisa (talk) 13:35, 5 June 2016 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Abul A'la Maududi, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Please only use the Minor edit checkbox for truly minor edits, such as correcting a spelling error. Comment
You're bringing some great sources that could introduce some badly needed improvements, but the long quotations and close paraphrasing constitute WP:COPYVIO. If you take time to paraphrase the sources, I can help you with copyediting. However, an edit like this one suggests an unwillingness to collaborate in a responsive and courteous manner, and I'm tempted to simply alert one of our copyvio cleaners. In fact, you may soon hear from them anyway, since these additions are showing up in the copyvio monitoring tool. Eperoton (talk) 01:25, 15 May 2017 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Misplaced Pages. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Misplaced Pages's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Misplaced Pages's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges.
