Neerali (lit. 'Octopus') is an upcoming Indian Malayalam-language film directed and edited by Ajoy Varma and starring Mohanlal in the lead role. It began principal photography in the first week of January 2018.

It is the second production of Moonshot Entertainment and their maiden Malayalam film after Nimir. The film was written by Saju Thomas and directed by Ajoy Varma, an editor, is making his debut in Malayalam cinema; had earlier directed Bollywood films S.R.K and Dus Tola. The untitled film was officially announced by Mohanlal, who plays the lead role on 3 October 2017. It was said to begin filming soon after he finishes his work in Odiyan. When asked, Varma said to The Times of India that the film is a "drama-thriller" set in Mumbai, Pune, and Sri Lankan locales, and the principal photography would took place between December 2017 and January 2018. Since more clarity was to be made for few more details, Mohanlal's character and the rest of the cast was not revealed.
