Kartik Aaryan (born Kartik Tiwari on 22 November 1990) is an Indian actor who appears in Hindi films. He made his acting debut with the buddy film Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011). In it, his character's five-minute monologue was considered the lengthiest single shot done for a Hindi film to that point. He went on to play the lead roles in the romance Akaash Vani (2013) and the drama Kaanchi: The Unbreakable (2014).
Aaryan's highest-grossing release came with the comedy sequel Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, in which he delivered an even longer monologue, setting another record. He has since starred in the comedies Guest iin London (2017) and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018).
