Hello, I'm Slazenger. I noticed that in this edit to Naval Infantry (Russia), you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Misplaced Pages with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. --Slazenger (Contact Me) 08:55, 24 August 2017 (UTC)

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

Hello, Fustos. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)

Danny Amendola

I disagree with your addition of adding the nickname 'Danny Playoff' to the introduction section of the article Danny Amendola for a number of reasons:

1) Per the Misplaced Pages use of nicknames guidelines, it is more pertinent to inform the reader that Daniel James Amendola is colloquially known as 'Danny'. Everyone recognizes his name as Danny. There is NO debate.

2) The nickname 'Danny Playoff' is a very new nickname provided by a teammate and used by some teammates and media. But they ALSO refer to him as 'Playoff 'Dola' - hence the nickname 'Danny Playoff' is not yet colloquial. It is not like Ed 'Too Tall' Jones who became known by that name.

3) The mention of this new nickname 'Danny Playoff' is already included in the story.

4) I am a HUGE New England Patriots fan and Danny Amendola fan. He is 'Danny Playoff' - but it is not yet a name that the general NFL public knows him by. They know him as Danny.

Federer as greatest athlete?

This is not supported by sources to use the term "many" in terms of athlete. It's debatable whether it should be in the lead at all. Please back up this claim on the talk page so we can all debate the issue. Thanks. Fyunck(click) (talk) 22:07, 10 February 2018 (UTC)

then leave out the "many" or "some" and have something like RF "has been describes as...". having "some" and "many" just sounds odd. Fustos (talk) 22:09, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
That's fine if you can make it stick with other editors, but you can't use unsupported "many" with his athletic prowess. Or it could be in separate sentences. Fyunck(click) (talk) 22:55, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
