Throughout my present ten years as a registered editor of Misplaced Pages, I've achieved and experienced many milestones in all of my fields of editing. This page is a collection of notes about those milestones, which range from article-making and writing milestones, editing milestones, reviewing milestones, and general Wikipedian milestones.

In general

  1. Late April, 2008: I met the Will Ferrell!
  2. On April 20th, 2009, I made my very first rollback revert, with heartfelt thanks to User:Fritzpoll, who made it possible!!!
  3. This is not a milestone specific to me, but I view it as a big milestone for all of Misplaced Pages: I say kudos (if that's how it's spelt) to Beate Eriksen, for being officially the three millionth (3 000 000!) article entered into the Wikipedian database!!!
  4. On March 10th, 2011, the first Motto of the day nomination I gave, that was approved on first try, was featured! (Chronologically it's my second nom.) Other successful MOTD noms I've made include this, and that.
  5. For two months and ten days in Spring-Summer 2011, I was in the records list on the main project page for the routine Wikification Backlog Elimination drives, under "Most articles logged on first day", with 17 articles wikified on the first day of the February 2011 drive. As of June 3rd, I was officially returned to the list under "Most articles logged on first day", due to my having wikified and logged 53 articles all on June 1st, 2012 (UTC).
  6. When I first applied for adminship in Spring 2010, I was (gently) turned down because I held insufficient experience in several important fields that administrators are expected to be well-acquainted with. In the time which has passed, I've tried gradually to acquire more experience in more fields, but I find that the more time passes, the more I agree with the reasoning for my rejection. It is good to know, however, that a couple of other users hold faith in my editing skills, as indicated by these RfA offers I've since received.
  7. My first time being the first to sign someone's guestbook was on May 10th, 2013. Second time around: December 16th, 2013!!!

  17. The revision of the DYK template which features George Scott (wrestler).
  18. The revision of the DYK template which features Bronko Lubich.
  19. The revision of the DYK template which features Daniel Elfrith.
  20. The revision of the DYK template which features both Ctenochelys and Vincent Gambi, the first time two of my nominated hooks appeared together in a single revision.
  21. The revision of the DYK template which features Polyptychoceras.
  22. The revision of the DYK template which features Mesotherium, the first DYK nom of mine which was featured with an accompanying picture.

  35. The revision of the DYK template which features Yanna McIntosh.
  36. The revision of the DYK template which features Gallardosaurus.
  37. The revision of the DYK template which features Carniadactylus.
  38. The revision of the DYK template which features Kinkonychelys.
  39. The revision of the DYK template which features Yongjiacaris.
  40. The revision of the DYK template which features Linheraptor.
  41. The revision of the DYK template which features Periclimenes dardanicola, together with Dardanus pedunculatus, which I was also given partial credit for though I did not create it.
  42. The revision of the DYK template which features Miniopterus griveaudi, and Miniopterus mahafaliensis. The fourth DYK article I nominated but didn't create, Miniopterus brachytragos, is also in their hook, but because of its association with two articles that I've created, I've included it in this list.

Other

  1. In this DYK queue, the last hook in the list is the first DYK hook I officially reviewed and confirmed. I think that's both cool and significant enough for inclusion.
  2. Cool! Jean-Joseph Marcel is the first successful DYK article I nominated but didn't create! I had, however, helped to get the article up to DYK length, because it was still a little too small. I said it before, with nominating the pages I've made for DYK, and I'll say it again for nominating others: This looks like the beginning of a ba-yootiful friendship!!!
  3. "Warning, It's Dirty", the second DYK article I nominated but didn't create. This is nice, because my Mum and my Grandpa are fans of Two and a Half Men.
  4. Robert S. Lancaster, the third article I nominated for DYK but did not create.

The funnies

  1. I'm actually amazed that he didn't want his name removed from the credits of The Alamo simply because of the name! No offence intended, but it's not every day you here of someone with a name like "Lon Tinkle"!!!
  2. I like this message I left to this dissatisfied knowledge-customer.
  3. It turns out that I couldn't see the bottom messages due to a malfunction with a template I used in one of my replies, but I still think this is funny.
  4. I know DYK is occasionally themed for special occasions, and I presume this one is for April Fool's Day. I just had so much fun reading this copy; I'd like to always have easy access to it, so here it is.
  5. Apparently I was the first case in which User:Hi878 had to say someone found the wrong secret page three times!
