Misuse of Defawn Template
HKelkar introduced a warning template on my talk page for my edits on Narendra Modi page that s/he has subsequently removed. Please refer to these edit summaries.I believe this is a very objectionable and intimidating behaviour specially in reference to a personality whose actions and inactions as a Chief Minister of an Indian state are very well documented in the world media.
Can you please revert these false templates from my talk page and also restrain this person from intimidating other users TerryJ-Ho 14:47, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

- Please do, There is a lot of WP:NPA and WP:AGF violations by this user and is continuosly hindering peaceful editing by raking up historical non related stuff to influence other's opinions.I removed one such edit that was intended to provoke me after the user made a request for mediation TerryJ-Ho 07:38, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- Pending your action I had removed this template which corresponded to misuse of the template by User:Kelkar. Now he has again pasted them with another .Please take action against him.He has provided no reason (valid or invalid) for pasting that templateTerryJ-Ho 10:41, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Bakasuprman's claim
cur) (last) 00:26, 13 October 2006 Bakasuprman (Talk | contribs) ("death to India" is not partisan? Pseudo-secular bakwaas) in the context of Narendra Modi page where he reverted my edits does not stand on any scholarly argument as I have hardly found that comment ascribed to them.Similarly the comment in Ayodhya page smell of original research. What is your perception? TerryJ-Ho 19:03, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
- The last comment seems like personal analysis - although to be honest I haven't sat down and thought about the article or the background much. User:Blnguyen | BLabberiNg 06:00, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Advice needed..
Hello, Although i had opposed making a new article of Belgaum_border_dispute it was made after insistance of a user.As I had feared the new article is being again used to advertise Karnataka's stand. If u see and read the article u will find emphasis on Mahajan report which is anti-Maharashtra.Kannadi editors are taking advantage of the fact that all pro-Maharashtra sources are in Marathi.I have an important citation which I will to use to balance the article and also specify Maha's stand on border issue. But Kannadi editors are not allowing me to use the source without translation.I do know translation is needed for using non-English sources but do we have to provide a2z translations or only of the quotes used in article?Plz help!It is highly impossible to translate each and every article and the special issue of a Marathi newspaper which I intend to use.Morever Kannada editors will generously use Deccan_herald and other pro-Kannadi citations to push their POV.This will of course result into a biased article. anti-Hindu up for AfD
- I have worked very hard to keep the article at a high standard and have sourced all edits there, but User:TerryJ-Ho and user:BhaiSaab want it deleted. Do you have any opinion? Please contribute to the AfD.Hkelkar 01:25, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I've closed it as it as there is no doubt left in the debate and the only further thing happening is a lot of useless sniping. User:Blnguyen | BLabberiNg 06:00, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
Hi Blnguyen
The talk page of the page now linked to from your signiture had a message on it for you:
I got a message that I had been vandalising some page when I loged of. And I know for sure no one uses this system expect me. Please tell which page it is sot that I can confirm it. Thanks.rencin24

Two question marks
Hi Blnguyen, I've never edited DYK so I'm bringing this here. The Viipuri Municipal Library entry has two question marks at the end. Probably there should only be one? Regards, DVD+ R/W 01:37, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
- Just a minor typo, no big deal. The images have gotten much better since you had the genius idea of putting them at CAT:CSD. I can't get into posting DYK now, too much on the plate, I've also been working on images at the Commons ;-). DVD+ R/W 01:56, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Sarvagnya's vandalism
Dear Sir, He is removing his official warnings on his page and non-obscene msgs for no reason.see this thisand THIS.Morever as a revenge he issued me a warning for no reason HERE.Note that he has alleged me that I vandalise his page and given me a No personal attack' warning! Mahawiki 06:26, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Please See this link too where sarvagnya himself had warned against removing official warnings.Mahawiki 07:02, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
- I also request u to allow me to remove the warning he gave me out of revenge. Mahawiki 06:27, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
- @Mahawiki - I give myself the right to remove bogus and frivolous warnings especially when it comes from people with poor records for decency like you, Arya and Baka. First of all, in your warnings you do not even mention where my supposed indiscretion happened. All you do is keep harping on some supposed misuse of popups and you fail to mention where. Also THIS is an unabashed and shameless case of trolling.
- Dear admin, I request you to take note of this never ending incivility of this user and block him. Please note that after you had blocked him, he has been blocked once more by another admin. Even then, his incivility has shown no signs of ending.
- Also please note THIS and THIS on User:Jimbo Wales' own page. This is a clear case of misrepresenting others and trying to mislead the user/admin(Jimbo Wales(!!) in this case). This is nothing short of slander! Sarvagnya 07:22, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Blnguyen, its sad how a useless regionalistic debate has invaded every India-related article. I could care less about the Kannada-Marathi debate, but thanks to Sarvagnya, I have moved slowly Northward. You may wish to look at Talk:Saare Jahan Se Achcha where he has unilaterally reverted/vandalized the article 12 times in five days.Bakaman Bakatalk 00:28, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, I stopped caring. Perhaps they will invade the Rahul Dravid page now as he is of mixed regioniticity. Blnguyen | BLabberiNg 04:34, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- This is not done, admin! U seem to quick in blocking me but dont care to find who's troublemaker here. For the "N"th time let me request u to keep a watch on Belgaum_border_dispute.U have blocked me twice and IMO i think on both occasions it was unwarranted.
- @Baka I am really concerned about belgaum_border_dispute article. It was a one-sided article before I stepped in. Now the user sarvagnya is not letting any stone unturned by badmouthing me on wikipedia noticeboard! I am not the guilty atlest on belagaum issue, why do these people hate Marathi so much. How can I allow these people talking mean about my language/state?

User:Tequendamia
Could you please help me? This user has been making disruptive edits to Indian caste system and has been filling the talk page with extremely hateful comments against Hindus . I have tried to reason with him on his talk page but he refuses and continues making hate speech. Is there anything you can do? Hkelkar 07:55, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
- That isn't hate speech. Is it wrong? Blnguyen | BLabberiNg 04:34, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, it is.The dynamic is complex and the Caste System is as much connected to Islam and Christianity as it is to Hinduism in India. I have cited refs by Prof. Sikand , Mohamed Habib and Ambedkar in the talk page where the origins and practices of Caste among South Asian Muslims are discussed at some length, as well as the sanction of the same by the Indian Islamic Ulema through the interpretation of Koranic verse.Hkelkar 05:50, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
- Well, point that out then. It seems like a content dispute. Blnguyen | BLabberiNg 05:55, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

JAKAZiD
Why did you speedy delete JAKAZiD? It's been receiving quite a lot of attention recently, not only because he's a minor Internet celebrity, but also now a real musician - he's signed onto two major UK hardcore labels, and therefore not a "self web-recorded musician". His first released single, "Cillit Bang" will enter the UK charts and be played on the radio, so he certainly qualifies as a notable musician, as per WP:MUSIC. --PkerUNO 23:10, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

Georgian treaty
Do you mean my Treaty of Moscow (1920) DYK nom? I am not sure what to change, hopefully another user can come up with more neutral hook. As for Bravda, I am not not sure; based at my talk (User_talk:Piotrus/Archive_12#Renata_Beger_2) I think that this was because of some deletion of an image, but I somewhat doubt that such a minor issue would casue a user to quit. PS. User_talk:Ed_g2s#So_that_you_know - this confirms that his reason for leaving was the deletion of few images :( -- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk 02:21, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

anti-semitic comments.Bakaman Bakatalk 03:57, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- There is actually a difference between Israel the state, and Jewish people who inhabit them. Needless to say, having such opinions will bring extra POV-scrutiny to his edits and make things difficult for him when he tries to edit religion-related stuff. Same as all those Balkans guys with big slogans on their userpage. There are actually high ranking admins who feel the same way (not me) as BhaiSaab. He hasn't reached Mahmoud Ahmedinejad status yet.Blnguyen | BLabberiNg 04:34, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

Block for Antisemitism
- While Bhaisaab's comments seem unduly confrontational.I believe he is not as much anti-Jew as he seems Anti-Israel.Kelkar claims himself to be a jew but I believe there is no way of identifying that fully..Subhash too claimed to be a neocon and Zionist..Also, this edit news item seems interesting in this case BBC..One week's block seems a bit harsh when kelkar is off just for 12 hours...I don't know much about their backgrounds though kelkar seems to have picked up quite a few blocks already..you may be in a better position to judge TerryJ-Ho 17:09, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- Personally, due to the personal scrapping which is prevalent in this area of editing, I have been rather soft on blocking for personal attacks and incivility, although with religious inflammation and vilification, I have not been so easy. Blnguyen | BLabberiNg 02:06, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
- Hello Blnguyen, one week? Seriously overkill... I agree that there is a preponderance of baiting of User:Hkelkar on User:BhaiSaab's part but seriously a week particularly given Hkelkar's essentially equal level of baiting? Would you kindly post your block for review on either WP:AN or WP:ANI? Thanks. (→Netscott) 23:26, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

- Thanks for the responses Blnguyen. Of course you had no complaint from me about User:FairNBalanced. His "Allah Pig" thing was the last in a long series of baiting type editing on his part and he had expressly inserted himself into a group of Muslim editors and proceeded to make his hateful demonstrations. - Looks like NetScott is merely backing BhaiSaab up. BhaiSaab has way more blocks than Hkelkar. Also, you blocked Netscott yourself for one week, and BhaiSaab backed him up. He's not fooling anyone by pretending to be a third party. I still remember when Terry, Ikonoblast (Holywarrior), BhaiSaab, CiteCop and Netscott all conspired to get me blocked on ANI for supposedly being Subhash's sock.Bakaman Bakatalk 00:50, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
- Netscott is justified.I don't see Bhaisaab to be unilaterally causing any offense while in my personal experience,Hkelkar has a history of incivility with many editors TerryJ-Ho 10:08, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
- Justified in pretending to be a third party? You and I dont pretend to be third parties, we are both completely open with our POV. ME Waugh
Reads much better than the Sehwag article and better use of statistics. Some comments :
- Three quotes about Tufnell in two lines doesn't read very well
- A little more context in the Waugh-Warne bookmaker affair - something to the effect that it was in 1994 and in Colombo. The news came out in 1998 but did ACB fine them in 1994 or 1998 ?
- "He was married for the first time on" : Isn't it his only marriage ?
- Re average as opener, Statsguru gives it as 44.06 Tintin (talk) 05:19, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, my brain isn't so good eh? Yes it is his only marriage - he was engaged/partnered to a woman about 10 years older than him for about 20 years prior to that. As for the bookmaker stuff, I don't even know what the details were except the match was in 94 sometime. Blnguyen | BLabberiNg 07:05, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

Warning?
For what exactly?I never made those ridiculous assertions that Ambedkaritebuddhist makes. If fact, the dude himself made some pretty hatemongering comments (along the same lines as Dhammafriend, of whom he's probably a sockpuppet or meatpuppet). Check his edit summaries of Indian Buddhist Movement. You must understand the context that Ambedkarite Neo-Buddhism has as much to do with Buddhism that scientology has to do with Christianity. It is not actual Buddhism but a cult hiding behind a veneer of Buddhism. The Indian Buddhist Movement article got taken over by POV pushers who are downplaying the normal practice of Buddhism in India and the Neo-Buddhist cult who have grabbed media attention and have come to the spotlight.Hkelkar 07:57, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
- And one othet thing. I was on irc the other day on #wikipedia-in and several users agreed with me on this point, that the article has been taken over by Neo-Buddhist POV-pushers.Hkelkar 07:59, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think verbal aggression is suitable. It appears that arbitration is ineveitable. Can you report the comments by Dhammafriend/Bodhidhamma then? Blnguyen | BLabberiNg 07:05, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

About antisemitism accusation
Hello. It's about the present issue of BhaiSaab blocking. I've read the arguments of the different parties on the page. I would like to mention that I've also been accused of antisemitism by Hkelkar just for having said Daniel Pipes is a neocon (see ). Yes, just that. Hkelkar tried to block me on that matter but didn't succeed. Given that Hkelkar is a sock puppet of the well known disruptive user Netaji (see ), and that Netaji described himself as "neocon" in his user page, you should be more careful about every blocking request made for Hkelkar on the ground of antisemitism. Thanks. TwoHorned 06:33, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I stand by my block of BhaiSaab and it was supported by a whole bunch of other people, without Hkelkar reporting it, so the second point is wrong. As for his accusations towards everybody else, you can see what response he has gotten for those requests. Arbitration seems inevitable in this sphere of editing. Blnguyen | BLabberiNg 07:05, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- That's for sure. However I think he is playing the disruptive way, under different names Hkelkar, Netaji or anyother else. But your answer is ok for me. TwoHorned 09:39, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- Hkelkar is not a sock either, if hkelkar is a sock of subhash_bose then twohorned is a sock of hornplease (a more probable allegation). Bakaman Bakatalk 13:52, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- All wrong poor fellow. But shoudn't Hkelkar = Netaji be the one that would have constested that he's not a sock, instead of Bakaman ... ? Bakaman's IQ is on the downside, apparently. :) TwoHorned 15:04, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- How does it matter, four checkusers have dragged my name into the mix. Netaji is/has been on a wikibreak for quite a while now. I see you've taken a break from "researching" Koenraad Elst to make sock accusations and personal attacks.Bakaman Bakatalk 01:05, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Cassandra Whitehead
Hi Blnguyen... care to offer your two cents at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Cassandra Whitehead? I know she never won a state title (not surprising, considering you're talking about Texas) but in my opinion I think that overall... her pageant participation and her eventful time on ANTM... she should just squeak through. Konkani article
Hi, please take a look at this. Arya has removed cited information just because he doesnt like it. I request you to either unprotect the page or put that piece of cited information back into the article yourself. Thanks. Gnanapiti 08:05, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- Well, the article says that there are 25 lakh Konkani speakers in Karnataka and 11 lakh in Goa. Your comments seem to use a Karnataka <-> Kannada correlation - how do you know that the people in Karnataka are using the Kannada script for their Konkani language? As you can see, Belgaum is in Karnataka but about half speak Marathi. Can you clarify this please (What if the people live near the border and use non-Kannada script for their Konkani?) How much is one lakh anyway? And just a random comment - 40 books doesn't sound much to me....Aren't there 60 million people in Karnataka? Blnguyen (bananabucket) 03:08, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Blnguyen, Please have a look at this and this, which talk about Kannada script being used by Konakani users and authors in Karnataka. Hope this helps in clarifying the matter. - Naveenbm 16:07, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, Karnataka has 60 million people and 40 books is not much. But not all 60 million speak Konkani. 25 lakhs translates to 2.5 million. And all these people are bilingual(in Konkani and Kannada) and infact, some of the most popular writers(Girish Karnad, actors(Ananth Nag, Shankar Nag) etc., in Kannada have Konkani as their mother tongue. Karnataka has similar linguistic minority populations that are domicile in Karnataka for centuries. These include Tulu and Kodava also apart from Konkani. All these languages use Kannada script as they either dont have their own scripts or because they once had scripts which are extinct now as they have fallen into disuse for the last many centuries.
- It is in this light that Sahitya Academies have been set up by the Karnataka Govt., to revive and encourage literature in these languages also. Such academies exist for minority languages only in Karnataka. Though MH also has minority populations of Konkanis, there is no Konkani Sahitya academy there. Though Kerala has minority populations of both Konkanis and Tuluvas(of course in Kasargod district which according to the Mahajan report should like Belgaum be with Karnataka but unlike Belgaum, unfortunately is with the neighbouring state) there are no academies for the same in Kerala.
- I hope you see why the Kannada script is needed in that article. Sarvagnya 18:20, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

- Dear admin,I request u to have a look at belgaum article where few editors are doing 'original' research and putting Belgaum border dispute article below when the issue is alive and kicking and very significant chapter in belgaum's history and present scenerio. Gnanapiti is also truing to remove cited info when it has been submitted to many editors including u.
- As about Konkani page,it will be nice if we have ask the opinion of a respectable Konkani editor/admin here. Kannada script is NOT the official script of Konkani language. Nagari, malyalam, roman scripts are also used but most important is Nagari script. Thanks

- It does seem OK to put it immediately after the History section. Look at Israel for instance. Although the article is about the city itself and not governance, so the political details should be in the separate dispute article. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 03:08, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

I'm positive you've been asked this before...
...but why have you blanked your userpage? Was the vandalism that bad? Oh, and if you haven't been able to chase up a reason for Bravada's untimely departure, I think - based on his final contribs - that it was due to some issues over his views VS those of others about Polish politics, which seem at the moment to be very nearly a blood sport. Not yet as bad as the Hungarian kind, but certainly heading in that direction. BigHaz - Schreit mich an 11:18, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- I haven't looked that carefully, but Bravada didn't explicitly say what the issue was. As far as some clashes between Polish and Russian editors go, on DYK for example, everybody thinks there is a big problem, but these days seeing two guys claiming the other is adding Polish/Soviet "propaganda" doesn't seem that inflammatory to me. Perhaps they should edit religion articles....I wasn't even aware of any Hungarian editors around the place. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 03:08, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Sarvagnya's incivil language and misuse of popups
Dear admin, Sarvagnya is back with its rude language and misuse op popups. He is not discussing anything on talk page and just mindlessly reverting Belgaum_border_dispute. I have been adding info on the same article using Marathi newspapers but I have also taken care so as to avoid POV. Utcursh had himself checked the article 2 days back. As a revenge Gnanipati has added stuff from a Kannada newspaper (even though Deccan Herald which is in English and publishes similar pro-K'taka news exists) but with POV and biases. I was just trying to tone down 1-2 sentences when Sarvagnya without any discussion (apart from filthy comments about Shivaji Maharaj which was answered back in similar manner) jumped and is been reverting the article. Please see 1 and 2. I am avoiding furthur edits so as to avoid 3RR.
Kannada editors should understand that i can add similar POV using Marathi citations. It is upon admins if they intervene it will be nice else I will be forced to add Marathi POV to balance the article. Mahawiki 09:47, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
