Kaka Joginder Singh (1918 - December 23, 1998) (alias Dharti Pakad meaning "one who clings") was born in Gujranwala (now in Pakistan). He is best known for having contested and lost over 300 elections in India.

Death
According to his family, Kaka was hospitalised after a paralysis attack on December 19, 1998. He died on December 223, 1998 from complications.
