The name is Groove, not Groove Music
Source: http://www.theverge.com/2015/7/6/8902079/microsoft-groove-music-features
"Microsoft mistakenly referred to Groove as Groove Music in its announcement. The company says it's simply Groove and is working to correct its mistake. This article has been updated to reflect the correct name."
Features section
ViperSnake151 You keep removing the features section, meanwhile other articles have sections with equal levels of details such as Google Play Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music, in fact this is one of the only articles where the feature section has little to no details. --LyThienDao1984 (talk) 01:27, 8 July 2015 (UTC)
Name
Microsoft lists the name as Groove Music in several sources, a name that has been repeated by several news sites:
Also note that the image used on all news sites (even the one that don't call it Groove Music) use the image that reads "Welcome to Groove Music", so I suggest renaming the page. --Hoang the Hoangest (talk) 01:07, 20 July 2015 (UTC)
- Also here is the official site, which also refers to it as Groove Music.

Confusing names.
Although the name Groove Music appears in various Microsoft websites, Windows 10, and Windows 10 Mobile, for some reason many sources and Microsoft itself simply use the term "Groove" and to make matters even more confusing the new Google Play application is called "Microsoft Groove" I don't suggest a rename, but it's clear that the naming can be confusing so I suggest that we could put alternative names in the entry in the future. --1.55.1.190 (talk) 07:40, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
Groove Vs. Groove Music Vs. Microsoft Groove
In the Windows Store Microsoft lists the application as "Groove Music" and not as "Groove" as you can see here, and in Google Play it's listed as Microsoft Groove. --Hoang the Hoangest (talk) 01:45, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hi.
- A strange thing about the Microsoft Store website is that even though it says "Groove Music" on the site, the app that it represents does not, i.e. the App's title is not "Groove Music". I recently had a minor edit dispute with Rob984; from that, it seems Microsoft website has recently made several blunders like this.
- I also added a source in the article to the effect that "Groove Music" is a mistake; the source is bearing a Microsoft confession of mistake and issuing errata.
- Best regards,

- How is the history of MSN Music and of Zune music being closed considered highly biased and inappropriate? Are facts inappropriate? If anything in that edit was untrue or inaccurate, I'd like to hear it so the fact that Microsoft has shut down two previous services can be included in the history. It's important if there is a history section. If you're going to have a history section then tell the true history; otherwise delete the history and talk about Groove on its own. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.19.193.177 (talk) 17:04, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- Eh?
- On my WIn 10 Start menu it is "Groove Music" on the tile.
- If I hover my cursor over the icon on the task bar it pops up with "Groove Music"
- The screenshot in this article has a window title of, guess what? That's right! Groove Music!
- Chaosdruid (talk) 21:04, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
- @Chaosdruid: On my menu, it is "Music". No "Groove" anywhere. Also in Microsoft Store website the screenshot shows "Music" in the title bar. But I won't be surprised if an update has made it "Groove Music"; it could be the kind of mistake that justify themselves because the "correct" form is no more meaningfully correct. Perhaps I should let my Windows 10 run an update.
- Best regards,

@Codename Lisa: Is it possible u were running the beta (well, delta/epsilon) and then upgraded? Chaosdruid (talk) 21:13, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
- Hello, Chaosdruid. I think you'll like what I have to say. Although tests confirms that the app that comes stock with build 10240 is indeed "Music", the latest version of the app that is currently in Windows Store is called "Groove Music". Best regards, Codename Lisa (talk) 14:20, 2 September 2015 (UTC)
- Sweet! Nicely found - I love it when we get to the bottom of things, these little victories sort of make it all worthwhile :¬) Chaosdruid (talk) 23:49, 3 September 2015 (UTC)
- To see what comes stock with Windows 10, one needs to install it with Internet disconnected, because Windows 10 updates itself before, during and after setup. Fleet Command (talk) 01:05, 6 September 2015 (UTC)

Groove Music
Why is the article titled Groove Music? That doesn't exist. Groove exists. WikIan -(talk) 10:13, 16 September 2015 (UTC)
