Evie Clair is a musical artist and reality television personality who appeared on the twelfth season of the talent competition series America's Got Talent. She has been playing piano since she was two years old.

Personal life

The day after Clair advanced to the America's Got Talent finals on September 8, 2017 she announced that her father had died from colon cancer.

While her father was alive and fighting cancer he worked to support the family.

Accommodations were made for Clair on the program. A woman who was overseeing wardrobe often bought two skirts for her, insuring there was enough fabric to create outfits with long enough skirts.Howie Mandel, one of the AGT judges, described her music, "It's the sound of an angel singing to her daddy,". Her parents were in the audience at the time.

Career

Clair began acting as a tap dancer in Anne at Hale Center Theater in Gilbert, Arizona at the age of eight. She has sung the national anthem at an Arizona Diamondbacks' game.

America's Got Talent

Clair auditioned for America's Got Talent three times before getting on the show and won praise from Christina Perri for a cover of a Perri song. Due to her father's death Clair was offered the opportunity to come back for the thirteenth season however, she chose to move on and to perform in the finals.

Album

Untitled

On May 23, 2018 it was announced that plans are underway for the release of an album by Clair. The album was officially released on June 1, 2018. All songs are performed exclusively by Evie Clair except for the Okay Day which features Kirra L.A.
