Majik Ninja Entertainment is an American independent record label based in Michigan that specializes in hip hop music. The label was founded in 2014 by the horrorcore duo Twiztid and their manager George Vlahakis. The recording studio for the label is called "The Dojo".

History

Establishment (2014–present)

Twiztid released A New Nightmare, 4 Tha Fam Vol. 2 mixxtape and Get Twiztid EP independently, then in early/mid 2013 Twiztid stated that they were establishing their own record label, and working out the remaining legal kinks. In February 2014 during a Dead Days Convention Seminar with Blaze Ya Dead Homie, it was announced that Blaze would be signed to Twiztid's new label. In mid 2014 Twiztid announced that Blaze Ya Dead Homie would be releasing two albums in 2015 on Twiztid's new label if there were no setbacks. A short time later it was announced that Blaze had acquired the rights to his Gang Rags: Extended Version (Uncut & Uncensored) album, and would strip away the beats, and release it the way it was intended to sound. In August 2014 it was announced that Blaze Ya Dead Homie would be releasing his debut album on Twiztid's new label and it would be the first to be released on the label, and it would be titled: Gang Rags: Reborn, to released on October 21, 2014. On Saturday morning September 12, 2014, INgrooves released its "New Release Packet" for the month of October. It announced that Twiztid's new label would be called "Majik Ninja Entertainment" and Blaze Ya Dead Homie's album's catalog number would be "MNE001". People have been arguing over if Twiztid's new label is called "Majik Ninja Records" or "Majik Ninja Entertainment" because in the "New Release Packet", it says that the new label will be called "Majik Ninja Records", but on the catalog number for Blaze's new album it says the label will be called "Majik Ninja Entertainment". Twiztid will release the follow up full-length album to their 2013 EP A New Nightmare titled The Darkness in early 2015. In late September 2014 Twiztid did an interview with 411 and they stated that an album will be out in 2014 and The Darkness will be out on January 20 or 27, 2015. On October 6, 2014 it was announced that The Darkness will be released on January 27, 2015. In a mid October 2014 interview with Faygoluvers.net, Twiztid was asked about The R.O.C. and the roster on the label and the response was "We wish we could tell you about the four but.....". They also said that they aren't officially on the label. The R.O.C. is the next confirmed artist on the label. It was also stated that he too is part of running the label as well as Twiztid and Blaze. Twiztid stated in an October 2014 interview that they will release their roster for Majik Ninja Entertainment in early 2015. Twiztid also stated that their new film company is called Better Than Books, and Twiztid will be releasing a series of short videos leading up to their first release on the label as teasers for The Darkness. In an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session Twiztid was asked if there were going to be anymore music videos, and Twiztid stated that they are planning on rereleasing W.I.C.K.E.D. and Abominationz.

Continued releases and new artists (2015–2016)

In a mid April 2015 interview with Monoxide by NEHipHop, Monoxide stated that they are close to releasing the roster, but they are working out the remaining legal kinks. He stated that they are going to sign three from California, one from New York, and one from Detroit. He also stated that Twiztid will take a back seat after 2015 to focus on their label and roster. On June 3, 2015 it was announced that the label's new website was up and running.

During Twiztid and Blaze Ya Dead Homie's 2015 GOTJ seminar on July 24, 2015 it was announced that Blaze Ya Dead Homie's album The Casket Factory will be released on January 15, 2016. It was also announced that The R.O.C.'s album will be released in early 2016. Also it was announced that Twiztid's next album won't be released until mid 2016. Finally it was announced that they will release 2 artists signed to the label in the next 30 days or so. During Insane Clown Posse's 2015 GOTJ seminar it was announced that Boondox has left Psychopathic Records and signed with Majik Ninja Entertainment only to be confirmed later by Boondox himself that it was not true. In mid/late November 2015 it was announced that the newest artist on Majik Ninja Entertainment was Queens, NY rapper Lex "The Hex" Master. Master was featured on the second single (They Call That Gangsta - Blaze Ya Dead Homie ft. The R.O.C. & Lex "The Hex" Master), released on December 23, 2015 and was accompanied by a music video, off of Blaze's second album (The Casket Factory) on MNE, set to be released on January 15, 2016.

In early 2016 Lex "The Hex" Master released his second single titled "Ninjas". Blaze Ya Dead Homie went on The Casket Factory Tour with Lex the Hex Master, The R.O.C. & Trilogy from February 4, 2016 through March 13, 2016. On The Casket Factory Tour, Lex "The Hex" Master released his debut EP on the label titled "The Black Season. Also released on the tour was Blaze's EP "The Casket Maker". In early/mid March 2016 it was announced that Zodiac MPrint will be releasing their debut EP titled "Ride The Stars" on May 20, 2016. In late March/early April Blaze Ya Dead Homie's second music video was released for the song "Who U Looking 4" featuring Boondox & Jamie Madrox. Also in late March/early April Twiztid released the title of their upcoming studio album, which will be their 11th, titled: "The Continuous Evilution Of Life's ?'s", and released the first single from the album titled "Psychomania". In an April 21, 2016 Force Five News interview with Blaze Ya Dead Homie and Boondox, it was hinted at that Boondox is going to sign with Majik Ninja Entertainment, when the reporter asked ("Now Boondox, I'm not saying anything about you signing with MNE right now am I"? - Boondox sits there smiling). On July 14, 2016 Majik Ninja Entertainment announced that on Monday July 18, 2016 they will announce the newest artist on the label and a music video as the official announcement. On July 18, 2016 at 4:00pm EST it was announced that G-Mo Skee is the newest artist on the label with the song "G" from his upcoming album My Filthy Spirit Bomb. On July 28, 2016 it was announced that a new album titled The Murder would be out soon. On August 19, 2016 Back On Da Block EP by Drive-By (Blaze Ya Dead Homie & Anybody Killa) was rereleased and available on Twiztid and Majik Ninja Entertainment's online store, Twiztid-Shop.com. On September 19, 2016 via Facebook, Lex "The Hex" Master announced that there will be a new VIP exclusive EP featuring him on the Spooktacular Horror Show Tour with Twiztid, Mac Lethal, Zodiac MPrint, Lex "The Hex" Master, Menace 2 Sobriety & Godz Of Kaos. Also it will be released on the Merciless Assault Tour with Scum & Lex "The Hex" Master. The title is unknown but the name of the group is Lex "The Hex" Master & The Unholy Trinity. The Unholy Trinity is composed of his producer Obsidian.K the man behind the dope beats on the tracks and his engineer from Las Roaches Suite DjNemoz. On October 10, 2016 it was announced from Monoxide Child that a new artist will be announced within the next 30 days, and after Twiztid and the crew return from the "Spooktacular Horror Show Tour" a second new artist will be announced. Also it was stated that Twiztid and Blaze Ya Dead Homie (Triple Threat) will possibly be recording their debut album soon. On October 16, 2016 during the MNE Seminar at the 2016 Rock & Shock concert it was announced that former Psychopathic Records artist Boondox has signed to the label. On January 4, 2017 via Facebook, Majik Ninja Entertainment announced that Twiztid, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, The R.O.C., Lex the Hex Master, G-Mo Skee, Boondox and Young Wicked will in fact not take part in the Juggalo March On Washington or in the free concert, but will take part in the 2017 Juggalo Day Show: Tales From The Lotus Pod. On January 18, 2017 Majik Ninja Entertainment announced the upcoming releases for the year. The list includes, The Continuous Evilution Of Life's ?'s from Twiztid on January 27, 2017, Cryptic Collection: Valentine's Day Edition being released on the Eat Your Heart Out Tour (February 10–22, 2017), Gorilla Voltage from New artist Gorilla Voltage February 24, 2017, The Murder on March 24, 2017, Digital Voodoo from The R.O.C. in April 2017. Other releases set for 2017 are from, Lex "The Hex" Master with his album Beyond Redemption, The Return Of The Prodigal Son from Young Wicked, Chaly & The Filth Factory from G-Mo Skee. Also albums set for release are from, Axe Murder Boyz, Zodiac MPrint, Triple Threat. Also Twiztid will release an Abominationz Picture Book. On January 5, 2017 Twiztid's flyer for their 5th Annual 420 Show revealed that Axe Murder Boyz are on the label. In late March or early April during Monoxide's Brunch N Bake he said that everyone on the "Eat Your Heart Out Tour" caught a bug, which delayed him from recording his vocals for The Return Of The Prodigal Son, and may wind up pushing the album's release date back. In mid April the first Triple Threat single was released titled "R.I.P.". In late April 2017 it was announced that Young Wicked's album was being pushed back from May 19, 2017 to June 30, 2017. Also in late April 2017 Lex "The Hex" Master announced that he will be releasing Mr. Ugly 2 (mixtape) on May 15, 2017. In early May 2017 Twiztid announced that a special CD will be sold by a special person mingling in the crowd and finding him and asking was the only way to purchase the CD on the "Psychomania Tour". The special person was Detroit rapper, and former Native World Inc. artist Bake Lo. The special CD was the Triple Threat EP with 3 songs taken from the Triple Threat full-length album by Triple Threat. In early June, G-Mo Skee announced that he has turned in his second album My Filthy Spirit Bomb. In an interview and social media, The R.O.C. has stated that he is working on the new Zodiac MPrint album. On July 3, 2017 it was announced by faygoluvers that King Gordy is working with MNE in some compacity, with nothing else being said. On July 12, 2017 during Monoxide's Brunch N Bake it was announced that 2 groups have been signed to the label, and will be announced on their next radio show. On July 14, 2017 via Majik Ninja Entertainment's official Twitter account, it was announced that Boondox is working on a follow-up to The Murder. On July 21, 2017 it was leaked that Twiztid and Majik Ninja Entertainment have trademarked Drunken Ninja Master Beer. During the August 16, 2017 edition of Ashtrays & Action Figures it was announced that the new group signed to the label is called Last American Rock Stars and consists of Detroit rappers Bizarre and King Gordy. On October 13, 2017 Majik Ninja Entertainment announced the album, Twiztid Presents: Year of the Sword, composed of tracks featuring every single artist on the label, which they dropped on December 1, 2017.

On January 19, 2018 it was announced that Twiztid will be holding a 420 Weekend 3 date mini tour on the west coast for 2018. The VIP package includes: A 420 themed flag, Blunts & Bongs: The Weed Collection, a vinyl sticker, and a VIP exclusive 420 basketball jersey. On February 16, 2018 L.A.R.S. released their debut album Last American Rock Stars peaking #6 on the US Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. On March 6, 2018 via Instagram Monoxide was asked about who the newly signed artist was, and he responded "I don't even know where to begin on describing who we just signed. Just don't worry about it right now". On March 9, 2018 with the release of the music video "Still I Rise" by Young Wicked featuring Rittz and Jamie Madrox came the launching of a instrumental web store called: MNEbeats.com. Also it was announced of the "Still I Rise Challenge". On April 2, 2018 Young Wicked announced that Playboy The Beast and Donnie Menace won the "Still I Rise MC Contest". As of May 9th, 2018 on Twiztid's radio show "Ashtray's and Action Figures" it was announced that on May 14th, 2018, 1 of 2 (possibly both) new artists will be announced on their label. On May 14th at 12:00a.m. Twiztid announced their newest group to be The Underground Avengers a group consisting of Boondox, Bukshot & Claas. Monoxide Child (of Twiztid) said on a live stream that their second newest artist will be announced sometime in July of 2018.

Artist Year signed Description
Twiztid 2014–present Composed of Jamie Madrox and Monoxide Child, are two of the founding members of Majik Ninja Entertainment. Before creating Majik Ninja Entertainment, the duo began their music careers in 1993 as founding members of House of Krazees with The R.O.C. until they left in 1997. They would sign to Psychopathic Records that same year on the strength of a 3-song demo and would stay on the label until December 12, 2012. They would release a few albums independently, before creating their own label in 2014. Their first release, and first full-length album on the label is titled The Darkness released on January 27, 2015.
Blaze Ya Dead Homie 2014—present Blaze began his music career in 1996, and almost gave up after joining many groups and going nowhere. He was encouraged by longtime friends Twiztid to keep trying, and give Psychopathic Records a try. In 1998 he was given a chance and was signed to the label. He was featured on Twiztid's debut album on Psychopathic. He would join Psychopathic Rydas and be featured on that album too, before releasing his debut album on the label Blaze Ya Dead Homie EP in 2000. He released 8 albums in total on Psychopathic from 1998 - 2013, before leaving and signing with Majik Ninja in 2014. He is also on his own label he started when he left Psychopathic, Grundy Entertainment. His first album, and first full-length album on the label is titled Gang Rags: Reborn and was released on October 21, 2014.
The R.O.C. 2014–present The R.O.C. began his music career in 1992 with his cousin "Big Father Hi-Top" aka "Evol". A year later he was asked to produce and record some guest verses for Hektic and Mr. Bones's group House of Krazees. The R.O.C. would later become the third member. After the group disbanded in 1997 The R.O.C. went on to join other groups while releasing solo material. He would become the hype-man for Blaze Ya Dead Homie in 2007, and the two would create the group Zodiac MPrint. The R.O.C. signed to Psychopathic Records sub label Hatchet House in 2008 until he retired from music in 2009. He released one album on the Hatchet House, an EP titled Welcome To The Darkside. He came out of retirement in 2012 and signed to Psychopathic, but left before it was announced due to Twiztid's leaving, and it was announced that he was on the label in a late 2014 interview with Twiztid. He released his first EP with the label at the Gathering of the Juggalos 2016 titled The Fucking Preylewd EP. His full-length Majik Ninja debut Digital Voodoo was released on April 14, 2017.
Zodiac MPrint 2014–present Originally formed back in 2006/2007, Zodiac MPrint debuted on Blaze Ya Dead Homie's album Clockwork Gray released on August 21, 2007 on one official song and one unofficial song. After The R.O.C. retired in 2009 the group disbanded until at the 2012 GOTJ when Blaze Ya Dead Homie announced that Zodiac MPrint was working on new music. After 2 years of The R.O.C. hyping the album, Zodiac MPrint made their return on Twiztid's For Tha Fam Vol. 2 released on March 27, 2014, on 2 songs ("Beware Of The Wolf", and "Gettin Wu Wit It"). In March 2016 it was announced that Zodiac MPrint will release their debut album titled Ride The Stars EP on May 20, 2016. Their debut full-length album is set for a 2018 release date.
House of Krazees 2014–present Composed of The R.O.C., Jamie Madrox and Monoxide Child. They were originally active from 1992 until 1997, but reunited in 2013 and currently perform together at times under the HOK moniker. They also plan to release new music in 2018.
Triple Threat 2014–present In an interview with Monoxide Child in 2013 he stated that Blaze Ya Dead Homie was the third member of Twiztid but never had a chance to join the group when they signed to Psychopathic Records in 1997, due to personal issues, but was able to join a couple years later as a solo artist in 1999. There have been many Twiztid/Blaze Ya Dead Homie collaborations with one song titled after the group "Triple Threat" released in 2005 on Twiztid's "'Man's Myth Vol. 1'". On October 10, 2016 it was stated by Monoxide Child that Triple Threat could be recording their debut album soon, and it was later revealed that the group will be releasing an album in 2017. They released their self-tited EP during Twiztid's "Psychomania Tour" which ran from May 11, 2017 through June 18, 2017, and featured 3 songs from the full-length album. Their self-titled debut full-length album, Triple Threat was released on September 1, 2017.
Lex "The Hex" Master 2015–present Lex "The Hex" Master is a new artist on Majik Ninja Entertainment from Queens, New York announced on October 22, 2015 through a sampler video released via Twiztid-Shop.com. He will release his debut album on Blaze Ya Dead Homie's "'The Casket Factory Tour'" titled "The Black Season" EP. His debut full-length album titled Contact was released on November 11, 2016.
G-Mo Skee 2016–present On July 14, 2016 via social media accounts, it was announced that Majik Ninja Entertainment was ready to announce their new artist, and would do so via music video on July 18, 2016. It was announced that the new artist is G-Mo Skee, and would be releasing his debut album My Filthy Spirit Bomb on December 2, 2016.
Lex "The Hex" Master & The Unholy Trinity 2016–present On September 19, 2016 Lex "The Hex" Master announced that an EP will be released on Twiztid's 2016 Spooktacular Horror Show Tour. The Unholy Trinity is composed of Lex "The Hex" Master on vocals, Obsidian K. as the producer and DJ Nemoz as the engineer.
Boondox 2016–present When new artist G-Mo Skee was "unlocked", there was one more blacked out box with a "?". On October 10, 2016 it was confirmed from Monoxide that a new artist will be announced within the next 30 days. At the Rock & Shock MNE Seminar it was announced that former Psychopathic Records artist Boondox has signed to Majik Ninja Entertainment. On December 10, 2016 it was officially announced that Boondox has signed to the label. His debut full-length album The Murder was released on March 24, 2017.
Gorilla Voltage 2016–present Announced on October 10, 2016 from Monoxide, that after the first new artist is announced and Twiztid and the crew return from the "Spooktacular Horror Show Tour" the second new artist will be announced. When Boondox was officially announced on December 10, 2016 it was announced that there is still another artist yet to be announced. On the artist template on the label website it stated "new artist to be announced sooner than you think". On December 24, 2016 it was announced that the new artist will be revealed on December 25, 2016 at 3:00pm EST. It was also announced that the artist already has songs ready for release and will be available when the artist is revealed. On December. 25, 2016 it was announced that Gorilla Voltage (formerly known as Damn Dirty Apes) was the new artist on the label. Their debut album, Ape–X was released on February 24, 2017.
Young Wicked 2016–present On October 16, 2016 after it was announced that Boondox was signed to the label, Monoxide Child said that a new solo artist and a group are still to be announced at a later date. On December 31, 2016 at 2:00pm EST it was announced that a new ninja had been unlocked. At 3:00pm EST on December 31, 2016 it was announced that Young Wicked was the new artist. He released his first EP on the label titled Vengeance on New Year's Eve 2016. His full length Majik Ninja debut The Return Of The Prodigal Son was released on June 30, 2017.
Axe Murder Boyz 2017–present Originally won a one-year deal with Psychopathic Records at the 2005 Gathering of the Juggalos, AMB released their debut album Blood In, Blood Out on April 18, 2006. They would leave the label shortly after promoting the album via tour. After releases in 2007 AMB signed with Psychopathic Records sub label Hatchet House in 2008, where they released their second album Gods Hand on September 16, 2008. On November 30, 2010 they released their 3rd album, an EP titled, Body In A Hole EP. A few weeks later they left the label. After some releases in 2011, 2012 and 2013 AMB returned to Psychopathic Records in 2013 and supported Insane Clown Posse on The Mighty Death Pop! tour. They released their 4th album The Garcia Brothers on March 25, 2014. In Young Wicked's pamphlet in Slaughter it stated that AMB's next album will be called Muerte. On December 31, 2016 it was announced that Young Wicked has left Psychopathic Records and has signed with Majik Ninja Entertainment, effectively taking AMB off the label too. On January 5, 2017 the flyer for Twiztid's 5th Annual 420 Show which will feature sets from Twiztid, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, Boondox, Lex "The Hex" Master, The R.O.C., G-Mo Skee, Gorilla Voltage and Axe Murder Boyz. Their debut full-length album Muerte is set for a June 15, 2018 release date.
L.A.R.S. 2017–present During Monoxide's July 12, 2017 edition of Brunch N Bake it was announced that 2 artists have been signed to the label and will be announced on the upcoming radio show. On August 2, 2017 it was announced by Monoxide that something came up at the last minute, so now they will only be signing 1 artist and that they will announce it on the August 16, 2017 edition of Ashtrays & Action Figures. During the August 16, 2017 edition of Ashtrays & Action Figures it was announced that the new group signed to the label is called L.A.R.S. (an acronym for Last American Rock Stars) and consists of renown Detroit horrorcore rappers Bizarre and King Gordy. Gordy has also stated that he and Bizarre will both release solo albums under Majik Ninja. They released their first group album, a free mixtape titled Foul World on October 30, 2017. Their debut full length album titled Last American Rock Stars was released on February 16, 2018.
The Underground Avengers 2018–present On March 6, 2018 via Instagram, Monoxide was asked who the newly signed artist was and he responded "I don't even know how to describe who we've just signed. Just don't worry about it". This group consisting of Boondox, Claas & Bukshot was announced on May 14th, 2018 at 12:00 a.m. and releases their new single "Killer Instinct".
T.B.A. 2018–present On April 28, 2018 during the Brunch & Bake, Monoxide Child stated that they have just wrapped up signing 2 more artists saying "If you support what we are doing then this is gonna excite you. If your not liking what we are doing then your gonna be saying "goddamn I fucking hate you guys now more than ever"".

In early 2017 Twiztid released cryptic messages saying that they will reveal a special announcement at their "Psychomania Tour" show in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 2, 2017. At the show it was announced that they will be putting on their own music festival titled 'Attack Of The Ninjas . The show will take place on August 26, 2017 at The Complex in Salt Lake City, Utah and will feature performances on the main stage from: Twiztid who will be performing their Mirror Mirror EP in its entirety, Triple Threat who will perform new and old songs for the first time as a group, G-Mo Skee, Boondox, Zodiac MPrint, Lex "The Hex" Master, Young Wicked, Gorilla Voltage and Insane E.. The second stage (Underground Stage) which will be hosted by Chuck Reeves, will feature performances from: Liquid Assassin, Damien Quinn, Razakel, Body Bag Syndikate, Andrew W. Boss, Troll (Slo Pain), ClaAs, Donnie Menace, Shadow D, Sik Ville Entertainment, Mista Ice Pick and Kraziak. The third stage inside The Complex (Vertigo Stage) will feature performances from: Blaze Ya Dead Homie performing 1 Less G n da Hood in its entirety, The R.O.C., Axe Murder Boyz, Scum and Dienasty The Mexican Thuggalo.

Attack Of The Ninjas 2018

On May 23, 2018 it was announced through that night's episode of The Hookup that the second annual Attack Of The Ninjas will take place on August 24 and August 25 at Kokomo, Indiana. Day 1 will feature sets from Gorilla Voltage, L.A.R.S., G-Mo Skee, Boondox and Twiztid. Day 2 will feature sets from The R.O.C., Lex "The Hex" Master, The Underground Avengers, Axe Murder Boyz, Blaze Ya Dead Homie and Twiztid. On June 13, 2018 it was announced that a pre show party will take place in Kokomo, Indiana on August 23, 2018 and will be headlined by Drive-By and will also feature a set by Redd.

Astronomicon

Astronomicon 2018

On May 17, 2017 Twiztid announced via a short video that they will be putting on their own convention in 2018. The dates were announced for February 9, 2018 through February 11, 2018 at Wyndham Garden in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Guests announced for the convention were Twiztid, Mick Foley, Sid Haig and Kane Hodder. However, Mick ended up cancelling due to scheduling conflicts. Other attendees included the entire Majik Ninja Entertainment roster, Dirk Manning, Anybody Killa (Saturday only), Bill Moseley, Laura Slade Wiggins, Road Warrior Animal, Charles Wright, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Eric Bischoff, Ryan Hurst, Jason Mewes, Kevin Smith (Sunday only), Brian O'Halloran, Carla Harvey, Tony Moran, Tyler Mane, Mr. Creepy Pasta, Pixel Dan, The Game Chasers, Angry Video Game Nerd, Ming Chen, Bryan Johnson, Booker T, Dirk Manning, Caroline, Tate Steinsiek, Roy Knyrim amongst others
