Book Seven (as yet untitled) will be the last of the Harry Potter series, although the author, J.K. Rowling, is reportedly thinking of writing other books.

Rumours

J.K. Rowling has denied two rumoured titles: Harry Potter and the Fortress of Shadows and Harry Potter and the Forest of Shadows.

Plot

Sibyll Trelawney prophesied that "neither can live while the other survives", so it is fairly certain that either Harry Potter or Lord Voldemort will die in this book. Rowling has said that Harry will survive until this book, but refused to say whether he dies in or shortly after it.
