Welcome!
Hello, LordFluffington454, and welcome to Misplaced Pages. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions have removed content without an explanation. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles.
If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can place {{helpme}}
on your talk page along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Misplaced Pages:
- The five pillars of Misplaced Pages
- Contributing to Misplaced Pages
- How to edit a page and how to develop articles
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- Article wizard for creating new articles
- Simplified Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing Misplaced Pages! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! —C.Fred (talk) 14:31, 14 July 2018 (UTC)
July 2018
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Misplaced Pages, as you did to Discovery Institute intelligent design campaigns, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 14:21, 14 July 2018 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Misplaced Pages, as you did at Teach the Controversy. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA 14:31, 14 July 2018 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Misplaced Pages, as you did at Teach the Controversy, you may be blocked from editing. CASSIOPEIA 14:32, 14 July 2018 (UTC)
- You have made a bold edit, and it has been reverted. Your next step, per the usual sequence of events, is that you need to discuss why the information should be removed at Talk:Teach the Controversy. Do not remove the material again until consensus for its removal is reached at the talk page. —C.Fred (talk) 14:33, 14 July 2018 (UTC)
- Also, with this edit, the archive link works just fine. It's starting to feel like you're removing material based on personal agenda rather than on verifiability, neutrality, or other Misplaced Pages guidelines. —C.Fred (talk) 23:27, 14 July 2018 (UTC)
Sources do not have to be on the web
See WP:VERIFY. I also agree there seems to be a pattern in your removal of sources, ie you appear to be removing sources on the basis of your opinion of them, not whether they meet our criteria. Doug Weller talk 10:35, 15 July 2018 (UTC)
