Botherder
For this article not to be deleted, you need to cite reliable sources showing that this term is in general use and is not a neologism. Thanks, NawlinWiki 23:45, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
Reposted deletions
Please see the "Brad hines" talk page regarding my suggestion to you. Also, please do not try and skirt around the deletion by tweaking the name of the article as this may be viewed as vandalism. Thanks. - Lucky 6.9 00:46, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

- Well, I did a quick investigation, and apparently it's been reviewed several times by several different editors, and all of them thought that the person was insufficiently notable to be included in wikipedia (I believe that one felt that it was an advertisement as well). I think it's been deleted about 7-8 times, going back to April. Essentially, to be included in Misplaced Pages the person has to be notable - which means that they need to be well-known, important, or significant. The people who have reviewed it don't think this person meets that standard. I tend to agree - in part because the people who reviewed it have quite a bit of experience in the standards involved here, and in part because several different people have agreed that it shouldn't be included. --TheOtherBob 02:03, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
- Just happened to swing by before hitting the sack and I saw the new contribution. Much better. I'm glad this worked out. - Lucky 6.9 06:39, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- You betcha.
Lucky 6.9 has smiled at you! Smiles promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by smiling to someone else, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Smile to others by adding {{subst:smile}}, {{subst:smile2}} or {{subst:smile3}} to their talk page with a friendly message. Happy editing!
Weirdness in your edtiting
Since that was definitely not the effect you were looking for, I reverted it. Try with a simpler editor. - CobaltBlueTony 20:13, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
Brad hines
A tag has been placed on Brad hines, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable (see the guidelines for notability here). If you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.
Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, article #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Oneiros 10:37, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Thank you. I am new to this. But anyway, the Brad Hines entry should stay. There is much more fortifying information to put in respects to his capacity as a domain name industry shaker and as an art/education contributor that isn't up yet. Let me know. Kindly, Utz --Utzchips 10:59, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you!--Oneiros 10:56, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
This is your last warning.
The next time you create an inappropriate page such as Brad hines, you will be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. NawlinWiki 18:25, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
Yes, but what is appearing as edits on the two articles are just random bits of nonsense text. If you are going to recreate the article, do it coherently, please. NawlinWiki 18:28, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
I will do so. I am new at wikipedia, still getting the hang of it. I keep getting the damn article pulled on before I can finish it lol.
- Might I recommend completing a good portion of your article before submitting it. Alternatively, utilize a temp page for yourself, such as User:Utzchips/Sandbox or User:Utzchips/Temp. - CobaltBlueTony 18:38, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
Actually, that's similar to what I was about to suggest. You might write a copy at the temp page and post a note on the peer review page or even the village pump asking for opinions. - Lucky 6.9 19:24, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
I don't need to do that. I have the aritlce pre-written, I feel like there is some sort of HTML block on me? If so , simply lift it so I can get on with editing this!
kindly,
Utz--Utzchips 19:26, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- The system "freaks out" when you try to add HTML since it isn't totally compliant with a wiki. The title hasn't been blocked, but you may wish to write it on a temp page to get feedback and to avoid getting clobbered on a three revert rule violation. I really thought we had this solved. Sorry about the hassle. - Lucky 6.9 19:31, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
Aaaaaah, I see what the problem was haha, yah I thought I was going crazy, text would work, but then my article wouldn't I will re-post it now sans HTML and then manually enter it back in after. Thanks!

External links
There's a way you can both add the links and title them. Here's how. Let's say you want to connect to CNN and add a comment. You'd type it like this: which in turn would resolve like this:
That's an actual link that will take you to CNN if you try it. - Lucky 6.9 19:51, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
If you are Brad Hines, why not just say so? :)
Seriously, there isn't a block on the titles so you can post text directly to them less the HTML coding. There's talk on the talk page about running the article through an "articles for deletion" discussion rather than just shooting it on sight, as it were. FYI, autobiographical articles tend to be discouraged no matter who's writing them, simply because of NPOV issues that sometimes arise. - Lucky 6.9 19:57, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
That's weird. Are you trying to paste a word processing document? You should simply be able to copy the text off the WP and paste it here. If you're trying to paste it in, say, Windows Word format, it won't let you. - Lucky 6.9 20:06, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
Spaces between characters
Whatever you're using to edit is putting a space between every character - that's why it looks like that.--TheOtherBob 20:22, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- Also, you can use the "show preview" button to see how an article will look before you save it - it will keep from uploading all these sorta crazy versions of the page (and keep antivandalbot from thinking you're a vandal). --TheOtherBob 20:24, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Brad, there's a reason people take this guideline seriously, and you seem to be proving it. --Calton | Talk 00:18, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
Hello, it was established earlier today by other admins that Brad Hines is noteworthy enough.
Really? It was "established" that you are "noteworthy enough"? I don't see a single note on your talk page saying so; quite the contrary, in fact. --Calton | Talk 00:37, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
You wrote: Bob, can you do me a favor and remove the comment on the Brad Hines talk page? It looks like the entry is all set now.
Kindly, Utz--24.203.42.57 00:54, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, but I can't do that. I still intend to take this article to articles for deletion - I see no reason not to do so. The article is not all set - it still has the same problems it's had since April.
- Also, it is generally considered bad form for an author to remove comments from a page you created about yourself. (Which is correct, right? I assume that the Brad Hines article is autobiographical - but please correct me if I'm wrong.) So while I'm absolutely sure that your removing those comments was not an intentional breach of wiki etiquette, it was nonetheless something you shouldn't generally do. (Also you should log in when you edit - otherwise it looks like you're operating through what are called "sock puppets." You weren't - you identified yourself clearly - but it still looks suspicious, for lack of a better term, and some users will tend to question it.) Thanks.--TheOtherBob 01:03, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
