Sarah Jeong (born 1988) is a South Korean immigrant and mainstream media journalist specialising in legal and technology topics. In 2018, Jeong joined the editorial board of The New York Times. At the same time, a number of her anti-White tweets surfaced on Reddit message boards.
She has previously written for The Verge and Vice's Motherboard section, and has also written articles for Forbes, the Guardian and The New York Times.
Jeong attended the University of California Berkeley and Harvard Law School, where she was editor of Harvard Journal of Law & Gender.
In March, 2014 she launched with EFF activist Parker Higgins a periodic newsletter titled 5 Useful Articles that offered a wry take on intellectual property issues, current and historical. The newsletter went on hiatus in 2015. She writes on technology and internet culture, including a book, The Internet of Garbage, on online harassment and responses to it by media and online platforms.Cite error: There are <ref>

In August of 2018 racist Tweets were uncovered by users of the popular internet site Reddit. Among the bigoted sentiments shared she stated it was "sick how much joy I get out of being cruel to old white men." In another Tweet, she referred to "dumbass fucking white people" being comparable to "dogs pissing on fire hydrants." Further she stated that based on white people's "genetics" they were "only fit to live underground like groveling goblins."
