I have removed the sentence "The artist makes his Carnegie Hall debut on December 1, 2006, in recital." which had simply been appended to the Biography on 24 October 2006 (editor unknown). This is time-sensitive which should be avoided (the recital hasn't happened yet), was a non-sequitur following as it did a discussion Flórez's technique and voice type, and seems like commercial promotion (even if it was perhaps not intended to be). This article in particular has several external links to the artist's official schedule, making individual announcements about upcoming appearances superfluous and distracting. Does Misplaced Pages have a policy on this? ] 11:15, 6 November 2006 (UTC) |
