    3. The editor must have been warned earlier. The {{npa2}}, and {{npa3}} templates may be appropriate for new users; for long-term editors, it's preferable to write something rather than using a standard template. Reports of unwarned editors may be removed.
    4. If the behavior hasn't stopped, add the following header to the New Reports section of this page in the following format:

    Technical point here: requests must post diffs rather than links. This is another offshoot of the white people dispute so if another administrator is already on this I'm not going to duplicate their actions. However, if the diffs verify the quotes and if no other admin is dealing with this aspect I'd look into it. This matter really ought to be consolidated in a single action at a centralized place.     For this diff of a personal attack

    and my response (to clarify any misunderstandings ) calling me a "racist" repeatedly and then himself makes veiled anti-semitic comments (apparently my being Jewish means I hate all Arab people according to Street Scholar). I would npa warn him, but he has a history of making inflammatory statements against people, getting even more aggravated when warned and finally being blocked for it. I do not wish to escalate his bile any more and request admin intervention.Hkelkar 11:22, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

    I don't like that since he's a coward comment at all. That's a personal attack in itself. The insults are relatively mild; however, given this editor's actions and long history of blocks I'll issue 48 hours for this one.     LSLM is totally innocent. Thulean is the one who should be investigated: his behaviour and his continued threats are highly disruptive.

    • Comment: This is an emotive issue, there are understandably strong feelings on both sides. I've had some dealings with Veritas in the past and he can get quite het up about things, but he's never made personal attacks, though he has questioned other editors motives. I don't think this constitutes a personal attack. Many people here on wikipedia have some sort of agenda, many people are just ignorant of proper wikipedia policies on WP:NPOV, WP:V and WP:NOR, many people are just ignorant of modern research and are clinging to old fashioned ideologies because that's what they know and understand and many just want to produce a reliable encyclopaedia. Certain articles are always going to be more sensitive than others and I don't think it is an attack to infer a person's political beliefs from opinions they have expressed themselves. I also don't think it can be considered a personal attack to question someones motives. Implying someone is a nazi based on their contributions and stated opinions isn't really a personal attack. Veritas doesn't actually call Thulean a nazi anywhere, he just says that much of what Thulean is expressing is identical to nazi ideology. All Thulean has to do is deny it. Thulean may or may not hold these ideologies I am entirely disinterested, but to point out that his opinions reflect those of nazism is not an attack. Alun 03:57, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

    The page already has an RFC (that I initiated as first measure) but this has gone beyond all measure, with T. trying to push everyone against the ropes and trying to scare them with warnings (official or his own unofficial ones, with which he spams other users' talk pages), while POV-pushing editing the page at will.
    The page already has an RFM (Cabal) and several RFIs. What the page needs is direct administrator intervention and declining Thulean's vitimist PAIN demands that can only strenghen his position and scare off honest, estabilished, responsible wikipedians, like LSLM, myself or whoever happens to be next. --Sugaar 11:05, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
    WP:PAIN has a limited purpose and that's to address personal attacks. We can't handle WP:NPOV here and this isn't dispute resolution. This case is complicated and as I stated last time it came to this board WP:NPA and WP:CIVIL have to be taken in context. Certain hot button words are unavoidable when the topic under discussion actually is Nazism and racism; when someone chooses a username that can be found on the titles to Nazi websites and chooses to edit the white people article, those actions do invite comparison. Still, no matter how much one user might deplore what appears to be another editor's beliefs, site policy doesn't grant a license to be rude. Another administrator has already been addressing this matter, probably in response to a different noticeboard post, and the matter is in mediation. That means my intervention would be redundant and I'm rather glad it's redundant: my responsibility as an administrator is to measure behavior against policy regardless of ideology - and as I caution at User talk:Durova/Admin an appeal to personal beliefs may compel me to recuse myself. So right now I'll take no action because it's already being handled. If some other administrator drops the ball and you need to return to this board, post evidence and diffs rather than statements of opinion because I am very close to recusing myself.     • Thule means ceiling in greek, ceiling of the world, as in Northern countries. It also means Iceland in ancient Greek literature. It was also a planet in a sci-fi book I have read in secondary school. And finally I like the way it sounds in English (-th- sound). It's not my fault Nazis use it. I understand its connection to White people page but I think it's silly that such comparisons are made not on the basis of my arguments (again, I welcome anyone to check page diffs) but simply based on my nick. People should be careful with their knee-jerk reactions, especially when it's insulting, and especially after being warned. Thulean 02:15, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

    This user threatened me and others in the past and got several admin warnings , , including a Personal Attacks - Last Warning . He was quiet for a month now but his last contributions attacked a bot and myself with threaten me that I get banned from Misplaced Pages and charging me for issues that I have never done and that are clearly outside of Misplaced Pages.

    Although, admittadly, I started this by attacking his "white supremacist" ideology, I believe that the language and attack here are unacceptable. I am not of African origin, but my Girlfriend is, and this is deeply offensive. Where I have explained and outline my attacks and arguments against this users ideology to this user, he retorts with that. I would ask that he be perminantly banned.
