WWE New Year's Revolution is a annual professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment for the RAW brand. It is the first of two pay-per-views to be held during the month of January (the other being the annual Royal Rumble ). Thus far, both events held have featured an Elimination Chamber match.

New Year's Revolution 2005 took place on January 9 , 2005 from the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico . The 2005 event was the first WWE PPV event to be held in Puerto Rico . Tickets for this event sold out in less than a month after being available for sale, marking one of the fastest selling events in the short history of the Coliseum.
